I was quite surprised that it was not like a real motel. No receptionist, no breakfast, no tv, no privacy, very small.

Was our for my first experience w/ a music festival. I’m on production side of things. Terlingua Nights Cabin’s provided a comfortable escape from the Far West Texas desert. This is a remote location so don’t expect room service and turn down service. You get a clean small cabin w/ a refrigerator and air conditioning (both extremely important out there) and clean function rather nice showers and water closets… I enjoyed my stay and I’m sure I will return there at some point. Absolutely recommend!!!

This is place is for more hardy individuals. Yes, you are in the middle of the desert. There are signs that ask you to limit your shower to 5 minutes. Yes, the bathrooms are shared and you do have to go outside if you want to use the bathroom for any reason. Yes, the cabins are very small and there is no place to put your luggage. (I kept my luggage in the car and would only brings the clothes that I needed in the cabin). It is a bonus that your car is right next to your door. Yes, the microwave is outside and shared. Yes, the bed is on the smaller side and feels and sounds like its covered with a thick plastic coverings. If you can't get over that, then don't book here.
I enjoyed my time here depsite all of that because I was there to shower and sleep. My favorite memory is lying on the hammock and night and viewing all the STARS!
I did have trouble with the comminication with who runs this place. I called the day before my check in and gave them my credit card info for incidentals and was reassured that the code to my place would be released by check in time (4pm) the following day. 4pm came and went and I heard nothing. I had trouble calling them as my call went through but they could not hear me. I had to go down the street to get Wifi. I did get a text messge giving me my lockbox code. However, they did not tell me WHERE the lock box was. Another guest showed me that the lockbox was located on your porch in a not so obvious area.

Although cabin didn’t have a bathroom, the bathhouse was just next door and well-maintained. It’s quite a unique experience for us to stay in such an interesting cabin facing gorgeous mountain and sunset views. It’s almost like a scene from a Hollywood movie.

Everything was great. Location was excellent, perfect for sunsets. Only had 1 small disappointment, the was only flavored coffee available. Just plain coffee would have been great. Restrooms, and shower was wonderful. I would highly recommend this property.

I didn't realize that the cabin was an 8 foot by 16 foot box that barely fit a double bed, in which the mattress was covered in plastic. This made for a sweaty night for sleeping. It was not advertised that you had to walk outside to the bathroom. My wife has bad knees & hips.
She was unhappy with walking outside in the dark to use the toilet or shower!

It was a great property for what I did--sleep. I thought it was a little pricey for as small as it is but supply and demand.
No problems. They did email me the next day asking for credit card info as if I were staying that night and had not just stayed. I asked if I had left something there and did not hear back.

The trash had not been taken out of the cabin. The bathroom was 30 yards from the cabin. One of the towels left for us smelled sour and moldy. The mattress is an air mattress covered in plastic on a cot frame. The room is an 8 by 12 room with a coffee maker and fridge. The photos online did not match accommodations. When the neighbors open or shut the door to their cabin prepare for your whole cabin shed to shake. It is conveniently close to the park entrance. There are hammocks and a fire pit. The stars are gorgeous at night(if the other cabins turn off their porch lights)

The property is a rip off. For the price of an upper mid-tier hotel (~$195/night with Property Fee) you get one small cabin, a double bed, coffee maker, fridge and Wi-Fi. No attached bathroom, TV, microwave, desks, chairs, closets, etc. You have to walk outdoors to reach a communal bathroom. All this would be acceptable if it was priced accordingly, but for this price, we expected some of these even in Terlingua. Our fault for not looking more closely before booking though - the property did not mis-represent anything.

It was a very clean and relaxing place to stay. Seeing all the stars and the Milky Way visible at night was awesome. Recommend anyone to stay there.

It was a tiny room, but it had all we needed and all the guests were friendly and warm. It had 2 outdoor grills, a slow cooker, and microwave available. Each room has 2 Adirondack chairs for private sunset viewing or star gazing and a 2 person little table and chairs under cover for eating. There’s s community place for 4 to sit and eat outside under cover and chairs around a fire pit. There was a Keurig in the room. Showers and bathrooms were so clean and convenient. They are shared. But we never waited for either a toilet or shower. WiFi was a nice surprise. No tv, but who needs it? There’s too much to do outdoors. Loved the covered parking. Very important in such a sunny and hot locale. I will say that a big person would not be comfortable sharing a room. Ice house available a block away. It’s only 15 minutes or so to the ghost town or Big Bend park. Would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t take half the stuff I did.

First the positive. The little houses that are the rooms, the grounds and the bathroom/shower facilities were clean and showed pride of ownership. The negative: The rooms are so compact we could not open our suitcase except on the bed. The bathroom, shower and toilet area is in a different building so if you have to get up in the night you are treading over gravel in the dark. Once you get to the shower/toilet you cannot brush your teeth with the non-potable water, you cannot flush toilet paper (hard to remember) and unless you remembered to drag your towel along with you you are left to drip-dry. There is no towel dispenser in the shower/toilet area. The microwave is outside under an awning. We had bought two nights but stayed only one because of the bathroom situation.

Beautiful location; can't beat the convenience of the location to Big Bend National Park. I just wish they provided some silverware!

Be careful if you rent this property. Expedia will tell you that you will get a code the day before the stay. I didn't get that, and in the desert you can be in areas with no data/phone. I had to go to a motel.

No Bathroom - then I was told to get a room I had to present my credit card for a deposit on damages , how can this lady have any idea about property condition if she’s not there. Stay away is my advice, I’m a 63 yr old man and no bathroom is an option I didn’t consider but they don’t have bathrooms , I asked for refund and left, no way I am staying in a 8x6 tin box.
