Stayed for 8 nights with my family and hotel served its purpose. Had a place to crash at a reasonable cost after taking part in continuous tours. Staff itself is very friendly but if you want a straight and concrete answer I recommend to check with the young male attendant or the lady who works the morning shift. Only complaint and bad experience was with with their private taxi service. We payed a fixed fee up front to the hotel. The driver who picked us up claimed he did not have any money and had us paid the toll road fees. . I immediately called the hotel. We ended up eating up the costs for the toll fees going to the airport. Next time, I will use a shared airport shuttle service like ADO or others like we did when we arrived to San Cristobal. We booked our own tours through a different agency to save some money. We ate at the restaurant once on our first day and the food is comparable to other restaurants. We had a tour on the first day and we were to be picked up at 8:00. The restaurant opens at 7:00 AM and you can order a la cart. The waiter mentioned to the cook that we had a tour and the cook replied back what did she want her to do. Hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Rooms are small, have a small window, and no ceiling fan. At night if you open the windows be prepare to listen to the tv from your neighbor, people coming in and out, and possibly people barfing on a weekend night which we experienced on our last day.
