We loved it! Note: The Eλία / Elia Reception in Chania is not always were the rooms are! The Reception is on a little alley just behind, but parallel, to the harbour side. Super nice reception staff! Elia (Eλία) have rooms in different places in the quite ritzy little alleys behind Chania Old Port. So we did quite a bit of wandering the tiny narrow, but safe and full of tourists, alleys until we found the 24 hour Reception. Kinda fun and a good vibe, seek and you will find!
Our room had its entrance door right on an alley on the ground floor. It had a high beamed ceiling and made us feel like humble but very comfortable Venetian merchants. Noting that Chania Old Port is Venetian. Pity we are not ship owners with very rich cargos! But, we certainly slept like royalty on ultra comfortable beds - splitting a double. Super comfy, great TV, and stunning being in the ultra beautiful old city centre with hundreds of restaurants and endless live music. Fab!

The location was very nice, right in the heart of the old town, but the accommodation was still quiet at night. Our room got cleaned every day. The jacuzzi was fully functional. The breakfast was really good, the local specialty pastries were amazing. Staff were very helpful, they sorted out airport transfers and car rentals for us.

The location of this studio apartment is absolutely spot on. Walk out of your door and you are seconds away from the tavernas, tiny quaint streets and shops of the old town. The people who work for the Elia hotel group are lovely, helpful and friendly. Check in was super simple. The apartment was cleaned everyday. And new towels every day. The room itself was in great condition, with modern decor. We absolutely loved our stay. The only slight negative was the noise from upstairs and outside (this happens with old buildings). I’m a fairly light sleeper but my earplugs perfectly blocked out the noise. Not a deal breaker but something to be aware of.
Thanks a fantastic stay in Chania old town!!

Very disappointed by our stay and by the hotel facilities (no resemblance to the pictures we had seen on the website). We had a 3-night reservation that unfortunately was not completed as the room that we were given had intense mold fumes (with clear signs of mold also on the walls) and we ended up staying only the first night requesting for another room. The receptionists did his bets to find us another room, but as the hotel was fully booked we left the room and it simply destroyed our trip trying to ind a different accommodation during a peak season.

Nice location near the port in a charming quiet alley. Good welcome and helpful staff. Good size of the room and nice bed and bathroom. Although the rest of the room is clean, the floor needs a serious clean up and the room is quite humid.

The experience was excellent overall, but I would avoid room 101. It is at street level, and you enter from a door right on the street. This makes the window and shutters pointless because with the shutters open people walking past can see right in (their waists are at window level). So we spent four days and nights in a dark room.
The bed is very comfortable, but the sheets are too small and float on top of the mattress. The bathroom is exceptional, with a fine shower.
The breakfast options did not look pleasing. We walked to the local bakeries and had exceptional breakfasts for just a few euro more than the hotel charges.

The room is clean and spacious. The balcony is small but still usable if desired. The bed in "bedroom" is comfortable as far as firmness but the bed in the main room is too soft. The staff is friendly.

Blown away by the fully refurbished historic building in old town Chania. The ceiling height was 5meters! The apartment was perfect, the breakfast was excellent & the lady at check in went out of her way to help out.
