About this house rental
This newly renovated beach house has everything to make your Coronado vacation incredible!
Located on a quiet street of beautifully restored historic homes with award-winning gardens, this 2250 square foot home with a 500 square foot casita is a short walk to the fantastic restaurants and shops on Orange Avenue (1/2 block), the beach (2 blocks), and The Del (3 blocks).
The main house has an open first floor with the living room, kitchen, and dining room all flowing seamlessly to the back patio, pool, spa, and yard. The living room has a large sectional, smart tv, and wood-burning fireplace. The massive chef's kitchen has 2 sinks, 2 dishwasher drawers, all-new appliances including 5 burner induction stove, convection oven, microwave, and instahot faucet, and every small appliance and kitchen gadget your heart could desire (including ice cream and smoothie machines). The dining room has a large table that can expand to comfortably sit 10 people. A small hallway off the kitchen leads to a powder room, and to a laundry room with a new, oversized washer and dryer. The laundry room also has an exterior door with a doggie door that leads to the side and backyards, and is right next to the outdoor shower.
The second floor features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The primary suite is at the back of the house, and offers a king bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, and balcony overlooking the pool and casita. The ensuite bathroom has a long vanity with 2 sinks, separate makeup area, large shower with rainhead and handheld faucets, and separate water closet. A junior suite is at the front of the house, and has a king bed (that can be changed to 2 twins), large dresser, small side balcony, and ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom has a queen bed and oversized closet with hanging space and shelving. Across the hall from the queen room is a large bathroom with 2 sinks and a separate door leading to the toilet and jetted bathtub with shower.
The casita in the backyard has a sleeping loft with queen bed, and a queen futon can be added to the casita’s ground floor, which also has 2 couches, a large dresser, a smart tv, and a complete workout area with a Peloton, weight bench, hand weights, and yoga mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets. There is a full bathroom that can be entered from inside the casita and also from the outside pool area.
The backyard oasis offers a solar-heated pool with cover, hot tub, fully enclosed outdoor shower with hot water and hand faucet for rinsing sandy feet, and a covered patio with a ceiling fan, overhead heaters, 75” smart tv, natural gas grill, eating area, and sitting area. You’ll also find everything you need for beach and backyard fun, including chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, wagon, bocce ball, and a spike ball set.
The home comfortably sleeps 8-10. Each room and bedroom (including the casita) has its own heating/air conditioning unit. Other features include a Sonos sound system with speakers in the primary bedroom, living room, kitchen, and back patio; high speed internet (up to 1000 Mbps); keyless entry for both the main house and casita; parking for 3 cars in the driveway; and a Tesla wall charger.
Housecleaning every two weeks is included. Additional housecleaning can be arranged upon request.
A four-person golf cart and up to five bikes are available to rent for a small additional fee. Pets are welcome subject to approval and an additional fee and damage deposit. Renters are responsible for utilities (water, gas, and electricity) that exceed a combined total of $300/month.
