We really enjoyed our stay which was perfect for families with the cute loft upstairs and a fun backyard! The kitchen was lovely for cooking with two options for dining areas. We loved the location and proximity to Solvang for activities (ziplining, ostriches, escape room) and Santa Ynez for wine tasting and restaurants. Thank you!

Our family group loved staying here for Thanksgiving! We had lots of space to relax in and do different activities both inside and outside the hacienda! The kitchen was super well-equipped for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner and everyone enjoyed the relaxing outdoor spaces, games, and views. We will definitely be back if we're staying in the area!

Such a fantastic rental property! It was perfect for all three generations of our family. Between the pool and hot tub, foosball table, bocce court, and indoor and outdoor furniture galore, there was something to keep everyone happy. Also came with all the things you need to live life - so many towels, blankets, kitchen and grill supplies - we weren't in need of anything. And a bonus - the house was in a quiet location with easy access to all the local towns. Fantastic trip, thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Calzada. The place is in a great location. Very private. The lot is on a corner and there’s so much room that you really don’t notice any neighbors. The house was very well stocked with anything and everything you might need. Very clean and well-kept up. The backyard was amazing. We spent most of the time at the pool and in the hot tub. Was very happy with our stay. Definitely will come back in the future. Check in process was very easy.

Our family of 6 adults and 2 toddlers have a great time in the pool, spa and neighborhood. Several things you should be aware of: not all bedrooms are en-suite. One full bathroom is only accessible from either the back pool area or the garage. Also, the bunk bed “tree house” room is accessible by very step steps not suitable for small children. Overall a great house and we enjoyed our time!

We spent a weekend in this lovely property with our family celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The property is very clean and well equipped with a lovely yard, heated pool and hot tub. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we had a great time. The only problem was initially with the property manager who had not responded to our emails or phone messages five days before our arrival. We finally received the arrival instructions which were very clear two days before arrival . On our arrival day we received an email informing us it was ok to bring a dog and a person we did not know. This caused us a lot of stress as we thought the house had been double booked. She did not respond to our emails or phone calls and after contacting VRBO, who were also unable to contact her, we were assured there was not a problem with the booking. We finally heard from her a couple of hours later that she had confused the bookings. In summary it would be very helpful if the property manager had responded more promptly to our email and phone calls. We did eventually find that texting got a quicker response. This would have saved us a lot of stress and frustration.

We came to celebrate a mile stone birthday with friends. This property was perfect! Plenty of space, beautiful inside & out, and close to wineries and Los Olivos. I would definitely recommend & return.

The house is a great location for the wineries, Solvang, and Santa Barbara. The house is equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Outdoor furniture can use some updating and the landscaping around the pool needs some maintenance. Other than that it is a beautiful house for a family of 10.

Property is beautiful, private, and exactly as advertised. It has everything you could possibly think of needing--an abundance of towels, dishes, kitchen utensils, soap/shampoo/lotion, portable speaker, foosball table, cornhole set, pool floaties, multiple types of coffee makers, cleaning products, tons of shade outside, high-end grill and appliances, the list goes on. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 older teens) had a lovely, peaceful weekend lounging in the pool and jacuzzi, playing games, grilling, and enjoying local restaurants. The property manager, Bonnie, was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

We spent 3 wonderful nights over 4th July weekend at Casa Calzada with 6 adults and 4 children. It is clear the owners and property manager really care about the guest experience as there were many thoughtful touches and the checkin/out was easy. The pool and hot tub were clean and central to our family fun. We cannot wait to return!

We just spent a weekend here and wish we could have stayed longer! The place is beautiful, full of inviting areas for conversation or reading, outdoor scenic spaces, and wonderful cozy beds. We felt like we were at a 5 star resort. I can't think of anything you would need to add to this place to make it better. It was wonderful beyond words. The kitchen was great and plenty of room for spreading out or gathering together in the rest of the house and yard. Bonnie was the best! She was very responsive and wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

I have rented this property for 2 nights 3 days for our my family vacation during Christmas time. The house is beautiful and had a lot of upgrades with detailed interior. There were plenty of towels and other supplies, which was important for our big family. Everything was clean and Placed thoughtfully. The propery manager, Bonnie was very helpful and accommodating everythjng we needed from the time we booked till we left the house. I would recommend this property to anybody who wants to visit Santa Ynez valley.

The gem in the Santa Ynez Valley is luxuriously furnished. It is a perfect spot for a family reunion. The house design is a great place for a family gathering. We enjoyed preparing family dinners in the newly remodeled kitchen and large bar-be-que. The beautiful large yard with waterfall, was a great background for a family picture. The pool and hot tub were family favorites. It is truly a five star vacation!

I was blown away by this property. The property is gorgeous and Bonnie made our arrival and departure so easy. Everything worked perfectly and we weren't in need of a single thing the whole weekend. This is AirBnB at it's very best. I was nervous about being the person to pick the house for the weekend getaway with my 8 best friends from college, since they're all unbelievably particular, spoiled and whiney (hi guys!) and this house made me the hit of the party. There wasn't a SINGLE complaint. It's a miracle.
