My husband and I went for a short weekend to walk around the area….upon arrival we were greeted by Alison and made very welcome and a lovely cup of tea.
The property sits high up in lynton and we had great views of the sea and the room was very well appointed and clean and the most comfy bed… we ordered a sharing platter for our evening meal which was delicious and plenty of food…they also did a packed lunch for our Saturday walk which kept us going to get up them hills!! they also have a self service bar which was great and good choice of drinks and snacks.
We met victor in the evening who does the chefing and made again to feel very welcome.
Breakfast was lovely and had a great choice and the service was excellent at all times and we enjoyed our stay very much and we will definitely be going back.
Thank you Alison and victor for a wonderful stay xx

Wonderful place to stay, amazing hosts, nothing too much trouble, extremely clean, and the views from the rooms are incredible. Great choice of breakfast and only a couple of minute walk from the centre. Couldn’t ask for more

Excellent B&B. Breakfast was very good, comfy room with nice touches such as the tea/coffee tray with fresh milk. Fluffy white towels. Tons of electrical sockets in all the right places. Very conveniently located for the small town and stunning local walks.

We enjoyed our stay here very much; it was a very comfortable room with lots of thoughtful touches and great views. We were provided with a fantastic breakfast too with a lot of choice. We made use of the guest lounge and enjoyed the fresh milk which was made available for our teas and coffees in room.
The entrance to the hotel is tight but OK and do check your Sat Nav takes you through the town into Lynway and not into the southern part of Lynway which is has no access to the guest house. Also check your Spam inbox as the guest house had very helpfully sent directions which had unfortunately got lost in there and were seen too late. If you are concerned about parking, there is a large public car park at the bottom of the hill.
This was a fabulous place to stay for our planned walks to Woody Bay and NT Watersmeet, a highly recommended guest house and we would happily return.

From the moment we booked in we were greeted with the most friendly and obliging couple we could wish to meet. The standard or the hotel is exceptional and we had a really comfortable stay there. Breakfast was really good and we would certainly try to stay at Sinai House hotel if we visit the area again

Sinai House was brilliant, Alison and Dennis were very friendly hosts and provided excellent breakfasts, with huge amounts of choice. Very comfortable, large room with amazing views. Great selection in the honesty bar, especially nice to be able to have a drink on the balcony in good weather.

This is a great location and a clean friendly relaxed environment to enjoy it in.
I particularly enjoyed the views from my room and the breakfast room. I looked forward to Victor’s scrambled eggs especially! Breakfast had everything a girl such as me could wish for.
Alison creates a warm and organised ambience and other guests chat freely.
A special treat is the garden..providing an enchanting alternative to the steep hill.
Perfect!
(Shame my photo doesn’t upload..then again why spoil such an unexpected surprise!)

An amazing place to stay and highly recommended. The only other B and B I would rank higher is my Grandmothers when I was younger, but then I'm biased! Everything was perfect, a clean and comfortable bed, TV, WIFI, hot shower, breakfast to your time and specifications, and an honesty bar if you fancy a tipple!
Also I am a keen cyclist and Alison even managed to find me a place in the garage for my bike so it was safe and dry. I booked a single room and it ended up having one of the most amazing views. Despite Alison apologizing for its size it was more than adequate, and felt extremely comfortable and homely, much like the whole place.
I was informed they would be closing soon for a few months for the low season and was stunned, as I imagine within a few more years they will be booked all year round and getting a room here will be like gold dust. I've never done it before but I have to give Sinai House a perfect 10...really its that good!

They say first impressions are the most important this was in the form of a very friendly welcome from one of the owners followed by a cup of tea and slice of cake being offered to the "weary traveler". The room was well furnished and the bedding of a high standard. Local information was readily provided for places to eat. Breakfast was first rate. All in all Sinai House was a very pleasant choice of venue to stay overnight with which I could find no faults whatsoever. Come and stay you won't be disappointed.

Very friendly and attentive hosts, Alison and Victor enhanced my recent stay in Lynton, Devon, by providing me with a super, bright, cheerful room with a fantastic view of Lynton and the beautiful coastal/cliff scenery beyond. Sinai House has all the amenities (and more!), that a person could want and/or expect - including a wonderful selection of breakfast foods and beverages. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wishing to visit this part of England. Thank you Alison and Victor!
