In the area for an event at the University and stayed 2 nights. I have stayed in similar town houses a lot for work so knew what to expect. However this has been the best so far. The room was spotlessly clean, towels were provided and the bathroom was also spotless. Tea and coffee making facilities were also a really nice touch even though there is a fully equipped kitchen, it is nice to have this in your room as well.
It is clear what is serviced and what is not, as the kitchen wasn't particularly clean although it was tidy, but you rely on the cleanliness of other residents, not the management for day to day things like this. There were no kitchen towels to clean surfaces, only sponges that are also used for washing up. Someone had smashed a pan lid and just left it inside a frying pan, filling it with tiny shards of glass. Cutlery was a bit 'sticky' so I just re-washed things.
I would definitely use the Town House again as the rooms and facilities were excellent and great value for money. I wouldn't mark it down for the kitchen as this is down to other residents and not management. It was generally tidy and well equipped.
Another reviewer was disappointed about no TV, but I spent 2 years staying in townhouses in other places for work and the management had no end of issues with people stealing them, so I can see it is not worth it. I just took my tablet and watched things on there.
