I can absolutely recommend it.

José was absolutely kind and helpful!!! Everything is within easy reach, the apartment was well equipped.

There was no microwave oven, but that's all.

Quiet area despite it being in the city center, friendly staff.

Didn’t have a parking lot, but there were public parking spots around the area so it wasn’t a problem :)

Wonderful host, very pleasant stay in an excellent location

The host, Jose, is very friendly, kind and caring. He was very accommodating to a special request that was ultimately not needed, but his openness to the request is very much appreciated. Great communication from booking to check out. The cleanliness was good. The bad was comfortable. The room has a washer with a dryer (with detergent provided), cooker, fridge, clothes dryer, and ironing board - making it ideal for longer stays. The location is ideal - very central and close to everything within walking distance. It is also very nice to receive a welcome gift - local wine and water. Overall good value and location.

I did not get the room I booked - the room was darker and in worse condition (more worn/ older), and it was also not on the top floor as indicated in the photos on the Booking - however, I did not complain as I was only sleeping there and not staying in the room. Mould was visible in the bathroom, above the shower. A bit noisy at night due to passing cars and loud pedestrians, however, this is understandable given the rather central and historic area, with cobblestones on the road. No lift.

Ottima soluzione per alloggiare a Funchal

C'è tutto il necessario per un soggiorno perfetto (lavatrice, stendipanni.. addirittura ferro da stiro con relativo piano).

Purtroppo per chi ha noleggiato un auto troverà problemi a parcheggiare gratuitamente, cosa praticamente impossibile nella zona. Io ho girato per un'ora per trovare un posto nelle strisce blu poi non avendolo trovato ho dovuto metterla in un silos davanti all'alloggio per 6 euro al giorno.

Disappointing stay

Our host was very helpful and kind. The cleanliness was very good. The facilities included a washing machine.

We had to climb many stairs up to our room which was on the 3rd floor. The bed was very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on. The apartment was too small and was more like a bedsit.

Au top ! Je recommande ! Appartement sécuritaire pour deux étudiantes :) !

Appartement très bien placé, au centre de Funchal. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, avec une place de parking ! :)

Dommage, beaucoup de voitures passent dans la rue, et cela fait un peu de bruit la nuit.

Appartement bon rapport qualité prix et bien placé

Staff très accueillant, appartement propre et très bien équipé (sauf la Clim en panne mais ventilateur a dispo). L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter la vieille ville.

Tre notti a Funchal

Struttura in centro a Funchal. Il proprietario è disponibile e molto simpatico. Camera con tutto il necessario e possibilità di usufruire di un parcheggio a pagamento. Al momento del mio soggiorno stavano montando i climatizzatori nelle stanze.

Niente in particolare.

Excellent lieu ( en tout cas au troisième avec balcon ) idéal pour un séjour prolongé ( 15 jours )

Emplacement idéal en plein centre, à côté d'un supermarché, de restaurants et bars Calme et vue sympa sur la montagne depuis les deux logements du haut . D'ailleurs notre logement ( le plus grand du haut ) est à conseiller: assez vaste et joli balcon où l'on peut manger tranquillement. Gentillesse extrême (et tout arrangement possible ) avec le propriétaire présent sur place tous les matins. Merci à lui pour tout !

Un peu faible en matériel de cuisine, mais les plats tout prêts du "Pingo Doce" d'à côté sont bien pratiques et délicieux ! ( Publicité gratuite ! )

Einfache aber zentrale Unterkunft

Die einfach ausgestattete Wohnung liegt zentral in der Altstadt und man kann alles fußläufig erkunden. Cafés und Restaurants sind in der nächsten Umgebung zu finden. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung empfehlenswert. Die Kommunikation und Abwicklung mit José ist unkompliziert und zuverlässig.

Die Betten sind etwas kurz und der Duschkopf lässt sich leider nicht aufhängen.

Würde gerne wiederkommen.

Zentrale Altstadtlage, alles notwendige vorhanden, sogar Waschmittelkapseln und Kaffee. Sehr herzlicher Vermieter und Mitarbeiter. Möglichkeit der Mülltrennung. Kurze Wege zu Einkauf, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Gastronomie. Habe mich geborgen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Nur zu empfehlen.

Alles in allem einfach nur Arbeitsverweigerung!

Ein WhatsApp-Video ist kein Ersatz für einen CheckIn. Extrem schlechte Englischkenntnisse des Inhabers erschweren den Prozess zusätzlich... In der Beschreibung des Hotels ist zudem von einem inklusiven Flughafenshuttle die Rede. Nicht nur, dass wir uns selbst um den Fahrer kümmern mussten, dieser verlangte dann auch noch dreiste 40 Euro für eine 15 minütige Autofahrt, ohne dies vorher in irgendeiner Art und Weiße zu kommunizieren. Soviel zu inklusive... Im nachhinein wurde dann noch ein Foto unserer Ausweise gefordert. Für uns war der Aufenthalt insgesamt mehr Arbeit als für den Betreiber.

Vienkāršs, labs un ērts dzīvoklis

Laba atrašanās vieta, salīdzinoši nav pārāk augstu kalnā un ir tuvu krastmalas promenādei. Lielisks, laipns un atsaucīgs saimnieks. Dzīvoklī bija viss nepieciešamais ilgstošai palikšanai - virtuvē pieejams viss vajadzīgais, pieejama veļasmašīna/žāvētājs un bija padomāts arī par veļas mazgājamo līdzekli. Lai gan stāvvietas pilsētā mēdz būt problēma, tuvumā bija iespējams atrast brīvu bezmaksas vietu vakarpusē (stāvēšanai no 20:00-8:00)

Absolutely a wonderful stay! I'd leave 100 star review. Welcoming owner, nice staff, unbeatable location, big balcony with a splendid view. Apartments are equipped with literally any thing you can think of. Very spasious and loads of Light.

Netter Gastgeber, hat uns z.B. einen Parkplatz fürs Auto besorgt, Kontakt problemlos über whats up oder in dem nahegelegenen Restaurant möglich. Sehr zentrale Lage mitten in der Altstadt

Terraza espectacular, buena localización y estupendo anfitrión

¡Estupendo! El piso en sí es una maravilla, muy bien equipado, con cocina para una estancia de semanas incluso. Lo mejor de todo, la terraza, que es simplemente espectacular. ¡Qué vistas, qué luz y qué tranquilidad! Localización perfecta en Funchal para llegar a pie fácilmente a cualquier punto. Además de todo esto, el anfitrión, Manuel, te hace sentir en casa desde el primer momento. Supermercado y cafeterías cerca. Es posible dejar el equipaje antes del check in y después del check out y para recoger y dejar las llaves. Recomendado 100%!

Todo perfecto. Solo me da pena no haberme quedado más días o incluso haber probado el restaurante que tienen al lado de los apartamentos.

Belle découverte de Funchal et de Madère!

Super accueil par José, toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions et à faciliter notre séjour. Logement correspondant à la description et très bien situé dans le centre ville. La possibilité de louer une place de parking (pas chère), juste en face de l'appartement est un plus quand on loue une voiture.

Super localité , tres propre, tres bon prix!!

L’emplacement, le logement et l’accueil était super. Jose c’est une personne très accueillante et sympathique. Son restaurant à côté était aussi très on. Des plats locaux à des prix imbattables!! L’emplacement c’est à 5 minutes à pied du centre. Je retournerais volontiers!!

Great location

Great location. Had everything we needed. Owner responded very quickly to replace broken hairdryer.

No outdoor space to relax. Loud street at night (cars). Only one key and needed it to exit front door so one person couldn't go out or the other would be trapped in the building.

Nice location and amazing staff! Manuel is the man! Very helpful, friendly and respectful! Restaurant has an amazing food and they gave us discount! Large balcone overlooking to the main street. Loads of bars, shoppings and restaurants close by. Thank you Manuel for the lovely welcoming host we had.

There is no air-conditioning and the fun didn't do the job. It needs a bigger and more efficient fun! Apart from that everything was perfect.

Safe and clean appartment with everything you need and a nice view. Great service!

What a wonderful treat after backpacking so much to be able to relax in a comfortable bed and do laundry!!! It’s nice that the kitchen has a few necessities like salt and cooking oil as well. The staff were amazing and so kind and helpful!

Great host and great location

We arrived a few hours before check-in, but our host stored our bags so that we could get explore the city. The host met us with coffee and explained where the main attractions were. The room was exactly as pictured. Clean and everything we needed. The view from the balcony was very nice. The fan in the room wasn’t working, but our host replaced it promptly. Bathroom was clean and there were plenty of linens.

Nice and welcoming. Cute place to stay again.

The location is perfect. Nice small room. To my surprise it contained almost everything I needed for a comfortable stay even in such a limited space.

I missed light variant of a blanket because it was too hot to sleep under the warm one. The door lock is not the easy one. At first it was difficult to open the door, turn and remove the key.

Exceptional

The ground floor of the apartment was a restaurant which was under the same management as the apartment. José and everyone in the restaurant were so nice. The location was perfect, the room was beautiful.

So sorry I booked it

It was very clean, and there was a fan I could use, as it was too hot.

I did not get the same apartment I booked. I got an older one. The bathroom was different. The window in the bathroom was old and cranky. A picture of that bathroom you don't see in the description. You don't get what you pay for! A discount at the Trigal restaurant was also a part of the deal, but that did not happen either!

Excellent price and location. Highly recommend.

The property is clean and well located, and for a good price. The restaurant downstairs is excellent. All went very well for me.
