The hostel is indeed charming - however i've been to better hippiestyle hostels in the canarian islands. good place to meet likeminded down-to-earth people. surprisingly much to do in the area. I recommend the botanical garden, the saltwater poolclub just next door (18 euro entrance though), the LARGE vintage market in ercolano, Gaaarden bar ( a little far away but an amazing outside bar), barberia by Massimo (good cheap barbershop). very local area - not many turists. go here for a different experience in the Napoli area.
the secutiry boxes were too small to store my hand luggage. many mosqitos in the patio (much more than other places in ercolano). the bar at the rooftop was closed when i stayed there, and it was inconvenient to go all the way down just to buy a beer. we were not allowed to eat food on the rooftop. it was difficult to come home to the hostel after a night out in the Napoli center (or anywhere really). public night-transport was scarce and confusing. Most restaurants in the area are not that good, and a little cringe.

I really love this hostel. Stayed twice already. Easy to get to the city center of Naples. But also to Herculaneum, Pompeii, Vesuvius. Staff are very friendly, the common areas are great. Good place for meeting people from all over the world
The showers could use some improvement. There's nowhere to put your clothes after you undress...

Perfect hostel, has everything you need, even cats and dogs

Friendly helpful staff, clean premises, very good self cooking kitchen, very good terraces and bar. Would be pleased to stay again.
Toilet seat beside blue room needs fixing, not a game changer.

This hostel is kind of like what you see in movies, It's a pretty beach town, there's animals! it's owned by local people. If you are looking for a real hostel experience, I would recommend staying here. There's a train that can take you wherever. Close to the ferry terminal! It really is something special! I stayed in winter so I would love to see how it is during the summer.

Lovely place, extremely friendly and helpful staff, nice homely cosy feel to this hostel and very eco friendly which i like.
Also i had no lock for my bicycle and they lent me a chain and lock. Was extremely grateful for this
Nothing to mention

Lots of very affectionate cats running around the property, so that was nice. The whole place is kept very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The staff are helpful. No AC, but I stayed in November so it was fine. They do have a ceiling fan and a portable fan in the room.
Wifi wasn’t great in the room, but it was fast in the common areas. The beds weren’t great. Not enough hot water for the shower.

The accommodation and rooms are lovingly and functionally furnished, staff is friendly. The roof terrace is a dream. Overall, everything seems well organised.
I specifically booked a single room so that I could have some privacy. The room I got was very exposed on the ground floor right next to the reception, with a window into the popular courtyard (I had to keep the curtains closed my entire stay). Because of the thin walls, windows and doors, I heard everything, every check-in at reception, every conversation in the hang out area right outside my window, the music from the bar, footsteps and conversations of guests as they came in and out of the hostel. I did not find this justified for a single room and for the price I payed extra to have privacy.

That is eco friendly
it was not like in the pictures, also you need to make your own bed not just after checking out, and they charge you 3€ if u use a towel which doesn’t really make sense for me, beds are uncomfortable

Such a lovely environment with friendly staff, I felt so welcomed and enjoyed my stay! Wish I had taken advantage of the free bikes.... absolutely amazing view of the city and Mount Vesuvius!! There are also some really good seaside bars nearby (perfect for sunsets and cocktails!) and only a 15 min walk from the train station. Would 100% recommend!

this was a fantastic hostel! it was so social and I made
lots of friends there (important as a solo traveller).
The rooms were spacious and clean, as were the
communal areas. Everything was extremely well
labelled in the kitchen too. The location was ideal.
I did Pompeii, Vesuvius, amalfi, sorrento, Capri, Salerno
- all extremely accessible from the hostel. The staff
were also really lovely and friendly and I got to
practice my Italian with them which was really nice.
I’d love to come back here again, 10/10! Grazie mille x

Staff is very friendly and the hostel in general has a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
We were accommodated in a caravan in the courtyard. It was the only option at the time of booking, but the booking said "private room". It is completely unfit for purpose but is priced like any other private room is in this region of Italy.
The caravan is crammed in between the front gate, garbage cans and the outdoors eating-sitting area (open until midnight, but people were screaming there until 1:30 am one night). The windows of the caravan cannot be opened properly (some of them even say "don't open!"). With 30+ degrees outside, it's a fan which keeps you alive. But if you don't want every single guest entering the property stare into the caravan, you have to pull in the curtains.
In any case: this is shameful. It felt like squeezing people for money by putting up an old, half broken caravan in a crowded courtyard with zero privacy and amenities (bathroom on the first floor) and calling it a private room.
We are very "eco"-minded and the place is pleasant and relaxing in general. But this "caravan" should be removed, it cannot be called "accommodation". We may just as well have put up a tent on the street.
The hostel also offers bicycle for rent for free against a EUR 50 deposit. Sounds fine, right? However, all the bikes are non-maintained, rusty chains, faulty brakes and flat tires. 3 were broken, one was kind of useable. Again: general lack of care and pretending to be green and "eco-friendly" when in fact, they are just sloppy and non-caring about what they are actually offering.

Although it's situated a bit far from Naples, it's closer to amazing places like the Vesuvius, Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi,... I absolutely loved the colourful and well decorated spaces. There's a nice kitchen where you can cook a meal or you could get yourself an amazing pizza from one of the places down the street for just 5 EUR. Be sure to grab a limoncello spritz in the evening and chat with one of the lovely bartenders. I highly recommend this hostel!

Good location, in between all attractions and about 20 minutes walk to the train station which will take you anywhere. The vibe is really nice :)
I know the lack of AC is an environmental issue, however in an 8 bed room with a tiny window and no AC, it’s very hot inside

The lively and joyful atmosphere of the hostel is in perfect harmony with the environmental ethics and the possibility of having space and silence (I worked every day on my computer)! The bar and services work great, the staff are very friendly, helpful and multilingual. It is located near the sea and sometimes, if you are very lucky, it can happen to participate in musical evenings with expert local musicians! I recommend it to anyone who is a "true traveler"!
The moment I had to leave!

it a little bit far from everything, and the beds are not so comfortable compared to hostels at the same price

Lovely lovely place, so beautiful decoration and athmosphere. Cats and a dog were lovely. Kitchen was clean. Nice chilling areas especially the rooftop.
The showers were littlebit unclean and there would have been more showers. Toilets didn't have working locks.

cool caravan in a nice hostel, well located and affordable
noisy, we didn’t sleep much while there

the overall decor of the hostel was nice and it was always being cleaned. there was good facilities for cooking although the oven was under maintenance when I was there. Beach is nearby to walk to & supermarkets.
Way too noisy- I booked a private room and it was downstairs right beside reception, the bar & terrace were everyone was at night. there was a big window from terrace looking into our room so couldn't open the blinds. The bed wasn't comfortable, for 4 nights we had the same towel and sheets.
