Dirty. Extremely rude staff

It is my favorite place based on its location, very close to the train station and close to the neighborhoods that I like to frequent when in town. Next to one of the city's nicest neighborhoods.

The beds are wonderful, this is my second time staying and it's my go to hotel in calgary. Such a wonderful price and friendly staff.
Only downside was the vending machine was down, but said it will be up and running soon :) but such a little downside for how amazing the hotel is

It’s along the high road, very near to restaurants and the receptionist is very kind and helpful.
It needs to freshen up the room as it has an unwanted smell. Also the frame of the right window is broken.

The bed was comfy, the staff was nice, there was a pool and fitness facility, but I did not find the time to utilize them, unfortunately
There was no AC in my room, only a dusty old fan that did little to take away from the heat of the days I was visiting Calgary. It also made sleeping next to impossible, and always absolutely abysmal. The pools of sweat on my back remained there from the time I check in, until I had boarded the plane to return home from my vacation.

The beds and pillows were amazing 👏 The rooms were very quiet.
There were gross stains on the floor and curtains. Our breaker kept blowing due to the ac and a curling iron being plugged in at the same time. The handyman had a rude attitude to us and the people across the hall when asked for help. We had also booked queen beds, but they were only double beds. .

The staffs were good and accommodating.
The AC was not too cold but they were nice to fix it right away.

No breakfast was served or offered by the facility while we were there.
I was put in a room without air-conditioning facility. I had to get out in the middle of the night 01:00HR, to report again. It was then I was relocated to another room lower than what I paid for.
From king size room that I booked to single queen bed. No news. Despite the fact I checked out earlier, and room downgrading, no refunds made to me.

Free parking and good location to main attractions
Room service was horrible. Asked for room service 2 of the 5 days I stayed. Left the placard out in the morning around 10am and came back in the evening to no changes. Complained both times to the front and were told that it was due to too many people checking in.
TV provided smaller than average. Bed a bit lumpy and uncomfortable.

The girls on the desk were nice despite having to clean up a big mess left by whoever overbooked the hotel
We booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each. When checking in, we were told there was only rooms with one king bed left so we had to settle for camp beds being put into the room. I was told I would receive a 20% reduction on my bill (which was paid already) and I am still waiting on this

I had a great time at this hotel. The rooms were really clean, and I loved how quiet it was. The people at the front desk were so nice and helpful, staff's willingness to accommodate my needs stood out. I'd totally recommend staying here, especially if you're in Calgary for work or with family. Plus, it's super easy to get around with the train station nearby.

clean, bed was good, lots of parking
Internet didn't work (it told us "can't connect to network"), first couple of times flushing the toilet it leaked from the base out onto the floor (had quit leaking by the next morning), showerhead sprayed as much water out the back as it sprayed out the front
