I like the room I stayed in. Everything was very clean.

I had an unpleaseant interaction with the staff. When I got to the lobby, I had to pay a security deposit. When I tried paying with my credit card, I got an error message with both my Visa cards. I called my bank (Caisse Desjardins) to see what the issue was and they told me they had a worldwide bug with their visa cards at the moment. I tried explaining the situation to the person in charge at the lobby and she was very rude. She wasn't helpful at all. She just told me that unless I paid the deposit I couldn't enter the room and I had to leave. Her collegue even made a comment about the fact that someone just paid with a Visa, insinuating that I was lying.Thankfully, after a few hours the issue was resolved and I was able to go back to the hotel and access my room.

The stay was very comfortable

I liked the location and layout of the hotel.

I didn’t like how apon arrival we were given a code for wifi that didn’t work however the grind desk fixed this quickly. The bathroom shower was very much in need of a deep clean. The fridge in the room barely got cold.

Unless you're able to check-in relatively early, there won't be space on early morning shuttles to the airport.

It was dingy and dirty, I didn’t feel comfortable in bare feet, etc.

The lobby area was clean and modern

Needs some serious deep cleaning. Even for day to day cleaning I would recommend more over site

Unfriendly staff and bad service

All the elevators did not work and they booked us on the fourth floor. We had to carry our big suitcases all the way up ourselves (no help from the people working there). No compensation by the hotel. Service staff was very unfriendly and arrogant and refused to help us. I do not recommend this hotel. They do not care about their guests.

Overall good. Except for the shuttle and the fact that it was not an easy location to get to.

To get to hotel from the airport in their shuttle was torture. It was hot, no windows could be opened. No air conditioning in the shuttle . Outside temperature was 25 Celsius.

Good place to stay for proximity to the airport.

Hotel is close to the airport & provides a good shuttle for early morning flights. The staff in the restaurant were delightful.

For myself personally- the bed was too soft. the staff at checkin were unfriendly and abrupt while I was checking in - no greeting, no smile, one word answers,

Newly renovated rooms, and very clean facility. Bonus points for storing our luggage when our room wasn't ready so we could go to the Jay's game.

Convenient hotel near airport for layovers and quick rest between flights

Location is great with free airport shuttle service. Rooms are decently sized and complete with amenities. Beds were super comfortable.

There was a bit of smell to the room like a damp cloth or enclosed smell. Staff was not as friendly and deposit charge was a bit of a surprise not disclosed during the booking.

An additional plus for Best Western Plus

The price was very good and the hotel looks clean. the room was cleaned and the carpet was decent. it is equipped with a coffee maker, small fridge, comfortable sitting area. they also provided a bath robe for guests. That’s a plus for me. The room was also efficiently decorated with electronic conveniences and nice mirrors for vanity. The bathroom has a nice shower and their provision of all the bathroom necessities aside from shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bath soap, facial soap, they also added bath cap, facial scrub and cotton swabs. They have a shuttle service every half hour. I was not able to use it because it was full on the time slot that I had to go, which means that their accommodations are full because people are enticed with their good prices.

I would suggest that they provide bottled water to their guests.

We were charged double the price when we checked in . No prior info es this. The clerk said the money would be refunded when we checked out. It took several days for the money to be refunded . I would have appreciated advance info on this before booking …..I would have chosen another hotel
