Good location and the room was comfortable
Bed was amazing
Chair in room was dirty
Never had towels in the pool area. Had to take towels out of gym
Hotel ran out of forks in the morning and did not have more until the next day

The hotel is located in in industrial area of the city, however, it was clean and quiet. The breakfast was value for money. Many selections of food were available.
The housecleaning was inadequate. We stayed for the first 3 nights and there was no housecleaning. I had to call the front desk to demand service. The cleaning was promptly done when I requested it.
4.5
Always clean
No smoking rooms

Was excellent. Good choice of food.
The food could have been hotter.
The elevator doors close too quickly for someone with a cane, walker or a pet.
2.0
Breakfast and WiFi good.
Very difficult to get the room cleaned - best not to stay more than 3 nights. Only one chair in the room - had to ask for a second.
4.0
Friendliness of the staff.
The crowded breakfast, closing breakfast early and lack of adequate staffing for breakfast provision . Mediocre breakfast. I choose not to have breakfast after seeing the quality of breakfad.

Clean, spacious, good amenities. Great breakfast. Staff were friendly. Pool and patio area are nice. Location on edge of town but convenient to get anywhere in Guelph. Consistent with other Hampton Inn locations I’ve stayed at.
Rated value low only because it was outrageously expensive. I’ve stayed in downtown Toronto for less. I suspect this was because it was a long weekend and university move-in weekend, so demand was high - and indeed we had no other options locally.
2.5
Bathrooms are very much in need of upgrades and cleaning. Floor tile and bathtub were filthy.
1.5
The beds were very comfortable
Took the three days we were there to get the fact that I was being overcharged sorted, despite the fact I was on to them twice or three times a day. Kept getting told ‘only the manager can sort it’ and conveniently there was no manager on for the three days we were there. Not only was I being overcharged but they were trying to take the security deposit twice. Kept getting different made up nonsense excuses every time I was at the counter. Made the stay very un enjoyable. Also the place is in the middle of an industrial estate with nothing within walking distance. Will be back in Guelph but definitely never there again

The ladies at work in the Buffet area were super friendly, and very accommodating to my son.
The girl at the front desk was much like a robot, no personality and not friendly at all.

Nothing
Dirty, mouldy room & bathroom.
Paper plates & plastic knives & forks.
Rubbish bin in middle of dining room for all the plates etc
3.5
The breakfast was very bland, the bed while king was very worn so it was like sleeping down hill , and as a King Deluxe room, my wife expected a tub / shower not just a shower with not shower wand. The room was not worth the extra and the value for money for this room package is not there.
Please see comments above

The front desk staff was amazing!
The bothroom was dated a bit. Could use new fixtures and tub.
4.5
accessible
sometimes it can be loud, but that can’t really be helped.
1.5
Bed was comfortable
There was dirty fingerprints on all the doors. Above the light switch entering the room there was something sticky on the wall. The shower head was leaky and the temperature controls on the a/c unit were missing so the room was to hot at night. Overall poor experience.
4.0
Clean, comfy, classy
For the cost the room was a little small but not bad. Remote for TV didn't work.

was given an accessible room but booked a tub. when spoke to front desk was told “it is what you booked” even though I showed her my reservation. she did change the room but continued to tell
me I was wrong. the room I was given was not clean, dirty bathroom mirror with toothpaste spots, and tub was full of soap scum (hand was white after touching it). next room was ok. it was the service of the front desk that is what made my scores lower.

We slept well because the hotel was very quiet. it had a pool that was never crowded. Big cinema and Tim Hortons within a block. Close to downtown restaurants/pubs, Paisley Street Shoppes and Quebec Street Mall.
It was quite a drive to south Guelph and the roads were snowy and icy - nothing that the hotel could change. Would be nice to have a small bar in the hotel.
3.0
The staff were very friendly and extremely responsive.
I don’t think anyone could in good faith charge for a third bed with the sofa bed that is in room 226. My two daughters and I tried it, we all ended up with shoulder and back aches, and we had to abandon it and double up in the two regular beds. It is extremely old, warped, and completely lacking in any support. Only one of the closets had hangers in it, there were no pillows for the sofa bed, and the air conditioning unit in the bedroom was broken.
The workout room was great to have, although I would add instructions for people to wipe down the equipment after they are finished. The TV didn’t work in there, and it was almost impossible to get the TVs to respond with the remote controls in room 226.
4.5
way too overpriced
