Great views, great staff, a little more work required on the rooms.

Views from hotel are amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The paid for breakfast options are excellent, with lots of gluten free options available. The onsite restaurant is very good for evening meals.

The rooms are very dark, the lighting not really adequate. We have stayed in two different room types (older style at the rear of the property and the newer ones with private balconies) and each have their own flaws and good points. The heating controls didn’t work, the room thermostat didn’t seem to function and the gas fireplace was sporadic. However, the air conditioning worked very well.

Great place to stay closer to nature

Location - the lake is beautiful even in winter and is just in front of the lodge. Hot Tub Sauna and steam room Service and friendly staff Huge window facing the lake and balcony Plenty of local lights in the room, making it very convenient to light up any part of the room

Tap water - even after boiling funny taste stays in coffee and tea. Upon departure we realized bottles of water were provided at front desk - oops! should request earlier.

Personale Gentile, Ristorante Stupendo Rinnovato a Nuovo. Vista lago.

Camera decadente, con odore sgradevole, vecchia da usura troppo usurata. Rumorosa: sentivamo in camera gli ospiti al piano sopra era come averli in camera con noi. Male gestione del personale ( che è stra gentile e disponibile) per le problematiche perché se si prenota tramite Booking.com ti chiedono di passare attraverso il sistema di Booking questo risulta noioso e seccante ed una perdita di tempo, perché se ho bisogno di una modifica e sono lì io personalmente davanti perché devo chiamare Booking ( spendere dei soldi nella chiamata ) attendere che Booking chiama la struttura quando io sono lì in carne ed ossa lì davanti? Per fortuna una ragazza ha capito il problema e ci ha risolto o almeno ci ha provato! Brava!

Worth it for the view

The view was amazing. Very tranquil.

The room was very very noisy....noise from upstairs and noise from the room to one side of us. Walls are very thin. Also terrible noise from fan in bathroom and water pipes ...even when another room used water the pipes made noise

Good location.

Location was very good and quite. Next to the Pyramid Lake and you may spot some animals during your stay.

Hot tub was under maintenance. Sauna was closed and have to ask staff to open and it took 30-40 minutes to warm up. By that time, front desk team asked us to leave. Washroom need upgrads.

Cinstruction site not hotel

Lovely lakeside location.

This hotel is under construction and should not be open yet. Staff after two days of telling us there was wifi eventually said it wasnt installed yet except at reception. The whole place was under construction with unfinished roads, access, rooms etc. We stayed in lovely hotels throughout our stay but this is one to be avoided and the only hotel we have ever givdn a bad review. Unfortunatly it was justified. It might be better when its built but in its current condition would not be allowed open in Europe.

A highlight of our trip … loved the peaceful and beautiful location!!

Loved the location … canoed on the lake in the morning … absolutely breathtaking! Had a late dinner in the restaurant after a long day of driving/sightseeing … the staff were very helpful and the food/wine were delicious. Have already recommended Pyramid Lake Lodge to family and friends!!

unfortunate timing of our stay w construction all around us and no food

beautiful lake location

restaurant under construction so no food. Also other building construction going on on site so it was very noisy. The room was clean and comfortable, but extremely dark and small. we paid for a view room but all we could see threw the trees were inch wide sections of what was probably the lake. sooo room was super over priced for what we actually got. once construction is done it will probably be very nice

We loved the views of the mountains, but probably wouldn’t stay again.

The views from our room were beautiful. The room was clean.

Given the price paid, you get very little. The property should inform guests there is ongoing construction. We had to listen to that all day (when you go out to a place like that looking for some peace and quiet). Only paper cups given in the room (which get soggy after a bit). Coffee / tea was horrible, and they give powder milk vs liquid. These are small things but when you consider how much you pay for a place like this, they could do better.

Disappointing compared to expectations, cost and others

Great location

Hardly any view of lake. Air con didn’t work - room was so hot needed to open the door nnd at -5 degrees it was either freezing or boiling hot. Walls paper thin so could hear people moving around and water running etc. Very expensive for what you get. Stagg not that helpful Would definitely not recommend

Exceptional

The location is awesome, the environment is beautiful and peaceful. The room was warm, comfy, and cozy. I loved the hot tub where you can enjoy the view of the sky. The staff, in general, was very friendly except for one person.

Just the woman from the staff who treated us like our presence there was bothering her.
