La prochaine fois, nous paierons plus cher pour en avoir pour notre argent...

La grandeur de la chambre, la proximité avec l'autoroute 401

Des réductions de service mises sur le dos de la Covid dont évidemment, la célèbre: Pas de service aux chambres même si nous sommes là pour 4 jours. C'est important, la santé des clients... Le petit déjeuner est vraiment sous la norme. Les restaurants sont maintenant ouverts, comment justifier que l'aire de déjeuner de l'hôtel ne le soit pas. Les choix de déjeuner sont vraiment pauvres: crêpes faites à l'avance plus ou moins chaudes avec faux - sirop ou sandwich gelé aux oeufs (style bagel Timatin de chez Tim Hortons) à réchauffer au micro-onde de notre chambre. Évidemment, à cause de la Covid, pas de service aux chambres même si nous sommes là pour 4 jours!!! Problème de plomberie avec le robinet du bain, le premier matin après deux douches, le plancher de la salle de bain est plein d'eau. (À voir le plafond au-dessus de la cuvette, on comprend que le même problème s'est passé à l'étage au-dessus.) Après avoir rapporté le problème, on nous a donné plus de serviettes pour éponger le sol... On a mis des serviettes pour éponger pendant 4 jours! Par contre, le matin de notre départ, la femme de chambre cognait à notre porte en criant: ROOM SERVICE!!!, et ça, à 8h32 le matin... Elle allait ouvrir la porte quand je l'ai ouvert. Un peu plus, elle nous attrapait encore au lit! Covid ou pas, là elle était prête à entrer dans notre chambre. Un seul ascenseur sur deux en fonction pendant tout notre séjour. On attend des pièces pour réparer l'autre. Les files d'attente aux heures de pointe, vous imaginez. Et en plus, une famille à la fois... Côté restauration autour de l'hôtel, c'est dommage qu'on ne retrouve que du genre fast food. Les plus "haut de gamme" sont du genre East Side Marios, Boston Pizza, Montana ou Swiss Chalet... Facture glissée sous la porte durant la dernière nuit en nous disant où déposer les clés pour un départ sans contact.

The breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking space, restaurants near by. The jacuzzi was nice for one person. Good size room Shopping near by.

The mattress was not very comfortable it made our lower back sore. My heard kids running around in middle off the night.

Great staff, tidy rooms, but don't expect much for breakfast.

The room was tidy and well laid-out. The pool was a good size, was warm, and seemed clean. The staff that we encountered were all very pleasant.

The temperature in the room appeared to be simple to manage, however it didn't do anything we wanted it to do and the AC unit was extremely loud. I was very exited to be able to use the hot tub, however it was closed off and drained when I went to use it. The pool towels were also incredibly small and very much needed replacing. The variety of breakfast options wasn't amazing, and the hot food that was served was uneatable.

Second rate treatment over a simple request

Clean, nice rooms

The continental breakfast did not have a lot of halal options. When asked for some accommodation (eggs without pork, since we're muslim and can't consume pork), the breakfast server flat out refused and said as per policy they can't do it. Then later, when the ham ran out, they made scrambled eggs (without meat) because they had to. Made us feel less than comfortable. I can honestly say I've never had a request like "would you be able to make an omelets without meat" be denied like that.

Food leftovers behind the bed and the desk. Consider other options if staying over with small children or make sure you're not staying on the ground floor. The reception area gets too noisy and it can disrupt kids sleep.

The beds were comfy, room was spacious.

The staff was never at the front desk when we needed them. The elevators were super slow. The bathrooms weren't cleaned properly once you used the shower you could still see the soap, etc on the glass from the previous guests.

it was clean, staff was great especially the breakfast staff

our room door didn’t close properly & was very noisy, the pool was closed on day 2 of our stay with no eta on reopening. we were told we could go next door to a sister hotel but it was too cold to be doing that since we couldn’t take towels from hotel to hotel. also we needed to go out at 2am and we were locked out when we returned. no one answered the door bell. we had to pry the door open to get in

Great place for a family get together!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The pool was clean and well supplied with towels.

There were glitches with some TVs- low batteries in remotes. One bathroom light was out. These things were quickly addressed by staff.

Great staff. They worked hard even though they were short staffed on new years. Good location in the middle of city. Close to a lot of food options

Jacuzzi was broken. For complementary breakfast there were not many halal options, even the eggs has bacon.

A fun family trip.

The location was close to shopping stores. The jacuzzi in the room was great. The breakfast was decent.

The swimming pool and the hot tub was out of order for couple of days.

Although the property is what I expect from the Holiday Inn chain I was surprised when I arrived to check in and was told there was a parking fee charge. This was not on the booking.com website. The fee was removed because I wasn't aware of it but we've stayed at a lot of Holiday Inns and have never had to pay for parking before.
