Conveniently located to the convention center. Lots of options for a meal. The floor was quiet and clean. Overall the property is well maintained.
The room had carpet which had an odor. I believe the previous guest had an animal in the room, because my allergies were triggered. Couldn’t sit in the upholstered chair, because of some type of allergic reaction.
Also the hotel didn’t comp the parking in the attached public parking garage. GPS didn’t mention entrance for valet parking, and I’m not sure if that was included in the exorbitant price.

This was my 3rd year in a row staying at the Hilton Americas in Houston and it gets better every year the staff is one of the most pleasant staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in and we travel quite a bit. We will definitely be returning year after year. Thank you Hilton👍👍👍👍👍
For me personal I would love for the beds to be softer but that's my personal preference other than that there is absolutely nothing I and we did not like.

The room was clean/tidy
It was overpriced. There was a value for money mismatch.

When we checked in, we go straight to our room to have some rest but when we came inside the room, it smells cigarette. The night stand and telephone was dusty and chair was kinda smelly too.

location, I was attending the conference centre and it was a quick walk away

The property was beautiful. Felt like I went to Las Vegas but had the convenience of being close to home. From the moment I walked into the hotel I was amazed. Upon check in our room was upgraded and included access to The Rooftop which was beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast with a view of Houston we’ve never seen before.
We loved everything about Houston Hilton Americas. Would love to stay again sometime in the future.

The location was good to venue we went to.
The rudeness of staff and unwillingness to accommodate what was wrong.

They need to invest in a better irons we had two that never got hot.

Location was great!
I think for the price, parking is kind of a crazy extra fee.

Everything was nice clean and very organized. Staff was amazing, food and location was great for the event I attended at the Toyota Center. Prime location especially for working events.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Good central location.
Hotel looks a bit tired with aging facilities. Definitely not cool or high tech. $30 for a terrible American breakfast is an insult.

Any time the WWE is in town I stay here due to the closeness to the Toyota Center and am NEVER disappointed. Thank you. The staff is also very accommodating.
I didn't like that I wasn't staying longer. ;)

We did not anticipate using the valet parking service, but traffic was so horrible in that area that we decided to utilize it. Unfortunately, since we did not plan using valet, we didn't have any cash to tip them. I asked both Mohammed, the driver and Kamal, the supervisor, if they had Venmo so I could tip them, as my daughter works for the Hobby Center as a valet cashier and I know how important tips are for the drivers. But they refused; all they asked for was a great review, so THEY WERE AWESOME!!

As for the room, it was nice. Nothing really wowed me EXCEPT for the shower. OMIGOD, the shower was INCREDIBLE.
The shower head was luxurious...Great water pressure, too. Just above and beyond the average hotel room.

The location of this hotel cannot be beat! The convenience to our venue was beyond compare. Didn't even have to walk half a block to get to my destination. NOTHING can beat that! Nothing.

Besides our event (the Pitbull/Enrique Iglesias/Ricky Martin concert) there was another concert (Morgan Wallen) and multiple private events at the hotel itself. I loved people watching... all the cultures, ethnicities all together in peace. Lots of smiling faces, friendly greetings, among strangers. Nice to see and experience with all the negativity in the media these days.
No one told us that you had to hold your key card to the reader in the elevator in order to request your floor. One man said that he rode up and down in the elevator for 15 minutes before another guest told him. That info would have been nice.
There's a dead bolt for privacy, but no flip lock. A minor thing, but one I missed.
It was noisy outside until about 1 am... to be expected on a Saturday night and didn't bother me, but I think others might be more sensitive to it.
And I realize this was most likely NOT within the hotel's control, but the stoplights at the intersection at the hotel's location were not working properly. All we had was a blinking red light. The traffic was a nightmare. I had to call the front desk and tell her they needed to get traffic control out because horns were blaring, and people were getting out of their cars and yelling at others to move. The operator contacted the valet service and they sent out someone to help. He was able to get things moving and eased the situation. He should NOT have had to do that... the situation was pretty volatile, and could have gotten really ugly really quickly. But it didn't, because the hotel, their valet service, and this gentleman went above and beyond his job description. Admirable to see these days. (This valet service is really, really impressive.)
So I don't know if the hotel should call and complain to the city, or invest in a traffic cop for busy weekends like that one.

I stayed here last year at the same time for the anime convention and it was not a pleasant stay and I was hesitant about staying here again this year but my daughter wanted this hotel because it was connected to the convention center. Well I will say my opinion has changed, this year we stayed a week instead of 4 days and it was amazing any issues I had a year ago did not exist this year I will be back at this hotel every year without a doubt. It was just an amazing service this year, and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you, Hilton. If i could give you 10 stars, I would.
Everything from the second I walked through the front door to check in the experience from start to finish was 10 stars. Thank you for an amazing trip this year.
