Great deal on a clean room!

Clean quiet room with a good light locking shade. Bathroom and room was clean. Great value for the price and right where we wanted to be downtown.

Hotel was nice and proximity to Minute Maid Park was great!

The one thing, booking.com didn't mention was that there is no free parking. They (Hapmton Inn) charged $55 for valet parking on premises. They have street parking with meters, now that's a hassle when all spaces taken. So let's get to the worst part....we accidently drove into the valet garage and started to back up when a valet driver came screeching behind us, (in a customer's car) yelling that we were in the wrong area. We told him we just saw the sign and needed to back up. We'll that's when words were exchanged starting with the rude valet driver. We saw him again in lobby and he started up again. This was a father son trip, so I tried to hold composure. But he kept on , pointing and mumbling things. My son told him to let it go and at that point the valet kept on. Went to room came down later to go to game and there he was again. Pointing and saying things we could hear. This is not what we expected from staff of hotel. Felt uneasy knowing they have complete access to our vehicle. The problem that kept lurking in our minds was that he the valet would do something to our vehicle, while we were at the game, as we walked to the arena. For that reason we probably won't stay there again.

Quality upmarket hotel in good downtown location

Upmarket hotel in a good downtown location. Friendly and efficient staff on the main desk, with a small shop selling various snacks and drinks, a large lounge area, and a decently sized breakfast area. Rooms were nice, everything clean and in place, comfortable beds. Breakfast choices were good. Just around the corner, a one minute walk away, is one of the best steak restaurants in town, Vic & Anthony's - not cheap and somewhat exclusive with a dress code, but superb food and service. Hotel is also close to Minute Maid Park if you want to see the Astros ball game, and close to the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Nothing to fault. We were just there one night.

Mini mart, guest laundry, and friendly staff

I am vegan so I messaged the hotel manager in advance to ask about what are provided at breakfast and if they could provide soymilk for the days I am there. All my wishes about food are answered, they even gave me a box of salad which I ate later, very communicative and friendly manager and staff, looking out for me in my stay of 3 nights, much appreciated it! Highly praise the manager for her professionalism and communication skills and teamwork.

I hoped there would be towels provided by the pool.

I’m 250 lbs plus, I can’t stand being hot and very uncomfortable. That’s it!

We were hot all night. Didn’t start feeling the A/C until about 3AM. I hate being hot it makes me very uncomfortable.

Expensive for services provided.

Location to Minute Maid Park,

Was not informed that housekeeping was ever two days. Had to acquire towels and supplies for second night. Housekeeping had closed when we returned to our room.

Close to our event.

Waiting for staff to check in. Then we were given a room that was already occupied! Then when we finally got a new room, the bathroom had soap or something thick and slippery on the floor near toilet. I almost slipped and fell! Paid way too much for this disappointment.

We made the best of our stay. We were not very pleased.

Rooms were clean

We were given a room that was hot all day. We ended up having to switch rooms at midnight. Isiah in the front lobby was very rude upon check in. I will be calling tomorrow to speak to a manager.

The location was excellent. We attended Astros games and were within walking distance to Minute Maid. We were also close to downtown restaurants.

We did not have enough towels. When we requested additional towels, our dirty towels were not taken away. The elevators were slow and crowded at times. The breakfast scene was a madhouse. It was not well supplied and it was not even available on the last several days of our trip.

We left early and lost money.

Location was perfect for attending the game and finding places to eat. Breakfast was great!

Having to do valet parking for $49 each day is ridiculous. And there was no other place to park your car if you did y want to pay that. “On site” resident that is listed on the website as an amenity, is very misleading. It’s a bar that you can get an appetizer to eat. View from the room on the 4th floor was the top of the rooftop. We had a leak in a room and they didn’t do anything.

I enjoyed the friendly staff, the comfort and the location to the convention center.

I enjoyed having a variety to choose from than just pastries, so it was nice to have some oatmeal and eggs for breakfast as well as fresh fruit. the staff was friendly and helpful. I was happy to see we had a refrigerator in our room as well as storage to put our snacks/food.

I was there for a training so a to go bag would have been nice. I usually like to get to my venue early by 5am so i wish the breakfast was open earlier. But all in all I appreciate having the breakfast and worked around the time it opened and made our breakfast to go to stand in line early.
