Clean, comfy beds. I liked the 2 bedrooms, Kitchen was well supplied with coffee and tea.
Situated beside the highway, kind of loud

It’s a nice place. The room was comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen and slept well.
Here is the reason for our less than perfect score. We took a cab to and from this location. When leaving our cab driver met us at the front desk and asked the owner to use the washroom. She told him no. We spent 3 weeks in Canada and this was the only experience we had of anyone being unkind.

Easy quick check in. Quaint little cottages Shaded in the trees, with picnic tables. Kitchen, well stocked, nice bedding. Good fans for cooling. Very clean, cool unique old cabins. With fireplaces.
Our cabin was the only one without a picnic table. The bathroom is small, spiders in shower.
The coffee pot didn’t work, but maybe that was my fault. The cabin smelled musty when we first walked in. The windows, when open have no screens/locks. Near highway.

No AirConditioning!!. TV not facing the Bed. Poor water pressure for Showering. NO anti-slip in Bath Tub./Shower

Price range was good compared to others.
Wanted to be close to Burchart Gardens and on line it mentioned it was. Definitely not close to the Gardens. Not straight forward to get into the property. Made it hard with the Malahat.
Nothing fancy, clean enough. Basic.

While the hotel did not meet my expectations in terms of cleanliness, I found it to be reasonably comfortable given the price I paid. The location was also quiet, which added to the overall tranquility. However, it is worth mentioning that accessing other places from the hotel required a 15-minute journey back and forth each time, as there were no nearby turns or exits. Despite these shortcomings, I believe that considering the price, the hotel offers decent value for those seeking a peaceful and affordable stay.

It was a quiet property.
The location was unfortunate, on the side of a busy highway blocked by a median. The suite was overpriced, no light in the shower area making it slightly dangerous. I arrived around 9:40pm and the owner wouldn’t show me to the unit, I had to circle back and ask for better description. For $150/night in a cabin, if the host is not busy, just walk us to the suite.

The staff was very kind! I love the layout of the place, especially the style of buildings being more cabin-like. Its very easy to find off of the highway and easy to get to, if you’re coming from the north.
If you’re coming from the south, you have to drive past the property about 10km to a roundabout - not the worst thing but a little annoying. There unfortunately were hairs in the shower and around the bathroom sink and the bed/pillows were incredibly uncomfortable (for my liking). As well, the window didn’t create the best seal and so the noise from the highway and outside came in really easily. The fridge would kick on every hour or so, starting with a kick of a noise that would startle both my dog and myself.

Quiet location inspite of its closeness to the main highway.
The cabin was quite small, although we were given the option of a larger cabin which was closer to the highway & so possibly not as quiet.

Beautiful setting. Nice bungalows. We had a pet friendly studio, it as small but fine for just one night.

Love going there - lots of places to walk my little dog :)
Extra blanket for cosying up on the couch!
