Really nice location.

Very friendly and helpful staff, cosy room, very clean, parking spot and a good connection into the city with public transport within 5 min walking distance. The breakfast was also one of the best we had during our travel. The area is also very nice. We can definitely recommend Cambie Lodge.

One person can ruin it all.

It was comfortable.

A couple of people and I arrived at the property seconds apart, but the got to the door less than a minute before me. I had to catch a flight to pick my dad up for cancer surgery, so I asked the other guest if they mind if I grabbed my keys first so I could run put the door. The person that was checking us in answered by for them, but her attitude was unpleasant, to say the least. A simple “no” from the other guests would’ve sufficed. I cannot recommend this place, based on my personal experience. I do recognize that the place was clean and comfortable enough, and the other staff members were great (the chef and the younger woman that was sweeping in the morning), and you may have a much nicer experience than mine.

Fabulous location, staff, breakfast, and room. We will return without a doubt!

Staff was so friendly and helpful. She set up a fan as it was hot outside and recommended a great restaurant we could walk to. Loved, loved, loved the outside patio!

Chef was great, but breakfast was very basic. Help yourself to most things

Water pressure was low. Took forever to remove soap in the shower. Lost all hot water in the shower when the commode was flushed or the sink turned on.

Uncomfortably hot

The breakfast was great and the bed was very comfortable. The location is good, with only a couple of blocks walk to the train station

It was a hot week in Vancouver, and unfortunately, the room we had had no air conditioning (Yew room). It appears that a large tree outside the window has recently been removed, which may have provided some shade, but the room had all day sun and even if we left the curtains closed all day the room was uninhabitable until about 9pm every day. I'm sure if it was cooler weather the room would be fine. In addition, there was no chair in our room, so the only place to sit was on the bed. It would be good to have a chair to sit on.

It was a comfort to me to have this place to stay at.

I can't comment further as my reason for being in Vancouver was to visit my husband in hospital. Therefore, I didn't have time to stay for breakfast but the location was exceptional for my purposes - a 10 minute walk from the hospital. I have stayed at their accommodation next door several times in the past and already knew this was a good place to stay.

Could not have enjoyed myself more.

Everything went well. It was quiet and relaxing. The shower was really good. Very cheerful. Will come again the next time I am in Vancouver.

Good location but poor facilities for the money paid

The beds were uncomfortable with the springs almost coming through the sides, the bedroom sink did not clear properly and the toilet was blocking.

Very comfortable and convenient. We would stay again.

The lodge is well situated, clean and comfortable. The beds were great! Loved access to Wi-Fi and quick taxi/Uber response. There are a number of hair salons just around the corner!

Some bottled water in the room would have been nice and maybe some bacon offered for breakfast. The eggs option was not quite filling enough...

Perfect location and lovely surroundings

We stayed in the double room with a shared bathroom and it was perfect for two colleagues. It was a really nice stay and we can definitely recommend Cambie Lodge. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Good location fine for a few days

Location was good to walk into the city or public transport (bus and train) easy train route to the airport. Enough food choices for breakfast and lovely staff in the breakfast room.

Room was small and not enough space to properly unpack so fine for a few days no longer Room was so hot no AC and the fan wasn't enough. The B&B is run jointly with the one next door so you don't get that homely feel.

Peaceful, nice neighborhood, and comfortable room.

Friendly, hospitable, and great B&B staff. Breakfast was very healthy, great choices. Quiet room and comfortable bed. Perfect, safe neighborhood, parking and location!

Lovely, quiet street in walking distance to so many awesome restaurants and public transportation.

The room was lovely and the location is awesome. There are so many fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood.

The staff never answered the phone during office hours. The breakfast was average.
