Super Zentral gelegen. An der Rezeption leckerer Kaffee for free.

Location
Very old hotel, needs renovation. Extremely small room. Surroundings do not look friendly especially at night- we were afraid of burglars breaking into our car :(((

It was there!
Cracked bathroom tiles on floor and walls. Rundown. Damp smell.

Pleasant staff and free parking were the only pluses.
Really run down: torn curtains, peeling wallpaper, chipped paint. Photos of site did not meet reality, at least in our room. Few restaurants within walking distance.

Located near the area I need to go
Bathroom had black mold
The room had a funky smell
I found drug paraphernalia in the desk drawer., apparently not cleaned very well in between guests

We have visited San Francisco many times and this stay at the Francisco Bay Inn was by far our best stay ever. The rooms are fantastic, spacious and clean. Room service is awesome! Front desk team of Hitesh and Hema Patel were extremely courteous and helpful. Right on Lombard street, 15 min walk to Fisherman’s Wharf and loads of restaurants within walking distance.
Everything was perfect

The hotel is well localized, near to touristic attractions. It is a standard hotel to stay one or two days.

location , accommodating staff, free coffee and tea .
older building , bathroom had dusty exhausts .
beds and linen needs to be replaced or refreshed , poor sound proofing from rooms above .

I'm pretty sure we had the worst room possible. It was located right by the stairs and I could hear people going upstairs all night. There was also a kid above us running around all the time. There were few outlets in the room, no bedside lamp, and the cleaner came in even though I didn't want to (she threw out a bowl I wanted to reuse). The price was decent though and close to everything (Lombard St, Fisherman's Wharf).
Too loud. Also the door had gaps so even at night we could see the street lights in the room. The outlets sucked too. Way too loose and only a few in the room. Really could use some updating.
