Good location. Close to local shops and eateries. Staff helped with luggage. Location held luggage for sightseeing after check out. Nice rooms.
Did not realize there were no elevators until after I booked. One person in party requires oxygen and another has physical impairments. Please update website and listing on Booking.com to reflect lack of accessibility and no shuttle.

Great location, beautiful landscape. Service was very accomadating.

Comfortable, clean and central for our needs. The parking was safe and secure in a locked garage. They offered for us to continue to park the car after checkout, but we had to continue our journey. We'll be back.
We liked everything.

Super cute motel in the Marina district, super close to great restaurants and coffee places. When we arrived we were greeted super friendly and got great tipps for our stay (restaurant options, places to go, best picture spots of the Golden Gate Bridge). We felt very safe in the district and the garage was perfect for our car (there are a lot of car break ins in San Francisco so a garage is the best option). The room was so spacious, comfy and cute, every thing was clean, big bathroom and kitchen that had everything we needed. Even though our room was to the street, it was quiet at night as the road wasn’t busy anymore. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back when we’re in San Francisco again!
Nothing, we honestly loved our stay at the Marina Motel.

A perfect spot for a getaway in the city. Close to Rt 101 but quiet and peaceful.
It surpassed our expectations.

The location was great! It was walking distance to the Palace of Arts, the Lombard gate of the Presidio, Walgreens, and great food. There are bus stops a block away that take you anywhere you want to go.
The flowers are outstanding! Not only do they look beautiful, but they smell even better!
The locked garages for parking gave us peace of mind.
We stayed in two rooms. Both were great! My only suggestions are to put a full length mirror in 26A and to empty the garbage. We stayed in our second room for 5 nights, and the garbage was never emptied. We were given more toilet paper and towels when we asked. Thank you!

The beautifully painted courtyards and gardens are absolutely stunning. We stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the courtyard to avoid noise from nearby Lombard Street which does get extremely busy during the day. Suffice to say we weren’t disturbed by the main road once during our two night stay! The rooms are very quaint and have a European kind of style to them, albeit they are a little dated but not to the extent that it impacted our stay. The bed was also extremely comfy.
The location of the property was pretty close to Fisherman’s Wharf as you can just jump on the number 30 bus and walk the remainder of the journey (about 10 mins) down to Pier 39.
Unfortunately, the sound-proofing isn’t fantastic. We could hear our neighbours conversations word for word and could hear them walking around. We know older buildings typically have this issue and there’s probably very little the property can do but it’s something that could cause an issue if you had particularly noisy neighbours (thankfully we didn’t!). Weirdly the tap in the room was very inconsistent. Sometimes you would get cold water, other times hot, other times none at all. I’m not sure if there was perhaps an issue with the tap itself.

Our car couldn’t fit in any of the extremely small parking spots and there is absolutely no other parking options in the area. The front desk person Natalie was nice and said she would refund us so we could get a different hotel. But when booking.com sent a cancellation request she denied it. She lied to our faces and when I asked her about it she denied everything. We ended up paying full price and then driving 4 hours home in the middle of the night. What a nightmare.

Beautiful, safe and convenient location. Property shows pride in ownership.
The pillows and bed were not the most comfortable.

The staff is pleasant, location is conveniently located near convenience store. Parking is covered although garages are small. Please try to bring smaller vehicle.
Lifted vehicles will not fit.
Garden and greenery are beautiful and so is the building.
The beds are old and lack cushioning. I felt nothing but springs on my back. The pillows are old and flattened as well. The windows are not insulated, so it was cold and noisy, even in the courtyard

Really good location and price quality is good. Parking spots available are a plus
The rooms are old and worn out as well as the wardrobe had really a smell. But again given the price this was ok.

This whole place has such character! A beautiful, quiet gem of a motel in a hustling city. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, and we loved the individual parking garages. Office staff was so friendly and energetic. We arrived a couple hours before check in time and were able to park our vehicle and our room was ready. Will definitely book this hotel next time we come back to San Francisco.
Wished the office opened up sooner than 8am to unlock our garage. But with free locked parking, can’t really complain. No other complaints about the stay.

Great location from which to explore the Marina District, which had many great restaurants, including cafes and diners. Liked the quiet room at the back of the property. The reception staff were helpful and professional. Room, kitchen and bathroom were clean, but old facilities, however they seemed to be in better condition than the other motels in the district. Easy access to the city via the nearby bus route, and close to a great wash & fold laundry.
Wished there had been an on-site laundry but did find a good wash & fold laundry in the same road as this motel. During the rain, we had ants invade the kitchen unfortunately. Note there are steep stairs to get up to the rooms.

We liked the location and the parking.
Our room was not clean when we arrived at our 4pm check in time so we either had to wait an undisclosed amount of time or settle for a different room. The heater was not working in the room we settled for and the portable heater kept turning off before ever really warming the place up.

No breakfast included. I loved the size, cleanliness and free parking
Wish it was just a little more quiet. You can hear traffic on Lombard St.
