A pure gem!
Sylvain is an amazing host. Wonderful atmosphere. Welcoming and helpful. Felt extra safe. Lovely shared areas inside and outside. Great location for getting to just about anywhere by foot or public transportation. Breakfast at communal table was full of homemade food (I ate too much!) and shared tips with fellow travelers. Sylvain told us to feel at home and went out of their way to ensure we truly felt that way.
It went by too fast!

Great hosts, beautiful spot. Though in the city, it had a country feeling in the outdoor areas.
This place was great. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Though a bed and breakfast with common areas, we had a private bath and felt that privacy was respected and its nice (if you like) to get the socialization and learn about the city from the other guests at the included ample breakfast served every morning between 8am-10am.
I can't really think of anything but compliments to say here. The room was modern, updated and immaculate. There was a TV, separate a/c split in the room, hair dryer and if it wasn't in the room, it was in the common area (for example, iron and ironing board and refrigerator located in common area).

Lovely, clean, cozy, safe place to stay in Montreal. The place is beautiful. The breakfast was spectacular. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The service was excellent, too.
Everything was great.

Awesome place to stay in Montreal
All rooms have been upgraded and are cozy. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts attentive to your needs. It's very close to subway system, 3 stations away from Place d'Armes (Convention Center). Area felt safe and dynamic
The wifi in my bedroom was barely doing anything to me.

A Warm Haven in the Heart of Montreal
As an avid traveler who has journeyed through dozens of countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, I find it a pleasure to recount my experience at the Bad and Breakfast Hotel Montreal. The authenticity of the photos and descriptions across booking platforms and social media is commendable; they genuinely reflect the hotel's offerings without exaggeration. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an impeccable level of cleanliness that could rival any five-star establishment. The hotel exudes a remarkable sense of home comfort, providing a warm sanctuary against the biting Montreal winter. The breakfast served is not only heartwarming but also tantalizingly delicious, making each morning a culinary delight. However, the true essence of this establishment is embodied by Philippe, Nicolas, Darren, and Sylvain. Their combined efforts, brimming with sincerity, tactfulness, and intelligence, weave a fabric of genuine homey comfort that envelops you, particularly on those frosty Montreal days. Their ability to make guests feel at home is an art that they have mastered exquisitely. In retrospect, my only twinge of regret is not capturing a moment with this remarkable team in a photograph. Their spirit and warmth are what truly set the Bad and Breakfast Hotel Montreal apart, leaving lasting impressions that beckon for a return visit.

Very comfortable B&B in the Old City from which we could bicycle anywhere we wanted to go.
Secure parking for our car and storage for our bicycles was very important. The enclosed courtyard at BBV exceeded our expectations in that respect. The breakfasts were wonderful. Philip is a personable and attentive host.
