If travelling through Haines Junction, before say heading to Haines Alaska, it’s a place to crash and get some rest. But you can drive all the way through to Haines do so. But it’s ok for an overnight sleep.
Better curtains, with black out backing. Can have allot of light come in by early am. Pillows on the weak side, as in small ones … washrooms were remodeled, new and clean at least in number 5.

The motel is right on the Alcan highway, so there is no extra driving. There is a restaurant attached.
This is a typical Alcan room, so I was not at all surprised. It had everything we needed, but was old …. even the updated shower. If I was only paying $80 US, I think it would be fine, but it was $146 US.
The restaurant specializes in Chinese Cuisine. I recommend NOT ordering American or Canadian food. The grilled ham and cheese was made with a small bit of shredded cheddar (although it did not melt all the way, so maybe not real cheddar?) and the poutine seemed to have canned gravy and no cheese curd …. Just that shredded cheese that doesn’t ever melt.

Convenient…great view of the StElais Mt

Price was way above what it should be, with just a bed , chair, bathroom.

Good shower.
The place was filthy dirty. It states on there advertisement that they have Aircon, they don't, and when it's 29c you really need it. It also doesn't have a kettle, or teabags, so bring your own. No shower or shampoo, so bring them too. Internet is not worth having as most of the time it doesn't work.

Not taking the time.
Pretty run down.

The room smelled atrocious.

Clean friendly
No table beside bed. We have CPAPs and had to use luggage and chair to set them on. A fan in the room would be nice. We were suppose to get a discount on meal, I asked and it didn’t happen. People talking smoking outside the room window is not good! I had to use the white noise to cover up talking.

I liked that I could have my pet stay in the room with us
how loud it was, the walls are really thin and I could hear people screaming till 3:00am

It served all day breakfast and there was also a gas station across the street that had amazing breakfast burritos. I also enjoyed the close walking path access and the bench right adjacent to the property.

Bathroom was beautifully redone and upgraded.
No toilet paper in the room. The restaurant was nasty. The food was almost freeze dried to where no amount of sweet and sour sauce was gonna hydrate it. It was overpriced and tasted bad. Go to 1016 Pub if you wanna eat.

Nice, updated, clean room. Great location for traveling thru…right next to the hwy.
Very small which would be fine if it was just one person (it was my son and I) I couldn’t see the tv from my bed. I didn’t need to watch tv so it was fine for me.

Arranged for a late check in as there were many unknowns in our travels. Arrived even later, signage said to check in through the lounge. Lounge was locked, restaraunt was closed and locked, paged through door intercom which was answered by an unintelligable voice. No two-way communications were established. Slept in the car. $124.00 worth of unrefundable nothing.

Location was perfect. No breakfast served. Only one chair in room that sleeps 6. Only 2 night tables, and no other flat surfaces to place suitcases, etc. Bathroom & towels clean.
Another chair or two in the spacious room, or a place to put our suitcases. Only 1 chair for a room that sleeps 6.

Clean and nice
I don't like spotlight.

Convenient location.
An abandoned old car with flat tires sat in front of my door. The room heater did not function. Furnishings were terribly spartan and ugly. A noisy renovation was being conducted in the evening.

I was a bit afraid after reading the comments… but finaly it was ok. Old place but we had what we need. Hot showers and a bed.
