Superb

It was very clean and well taken care of, reasonable priced. I love the fact it is privately owned and operated. We only stayed one night but would defiantly stay again.

I made a last min booking, needed a dog friendly place, what was advertised as cheap ended up being $170 when you converted to Canadian funds and the dog charge. So I thought I cancelled it at the desk saying it was too expensive but motel is going to charge me anyways. He should have told me I would be charged . I went 100k down the road and paid $120. Am very unhappy with Pine Grove!

Great addition to our cross Canada road trip stops!

Very friendly staff. We felt very welcomed, safe, clean.

Bed was a bit stiff for our liking. Likely very comfortable to those that prefer a stiffer mattress.

Second time staying here , very convenient!

accessible to highway , room to walk our dog .

Kept blowing electricity when we’d plug in microwave or kettle . poor lighting , no overhead lighting .

clean, well maintained and really nice staff! pet friendly which is a bonus.

needs drapes or blinds in the bedroom to block early morning Sunshine and also needs normal coffee instead of the instant coffee crystal packets with the built in “creamer” and sweetener which is what’s provided.

It was fine. The owner was courteous. The premises was nice and clean and the price was reasonable.

There wasn’t any breakfast that I’m aware of. The location was good for travellers.

The bedside lamp went off I figured out it was happening whenever I sat down on the bed. Please check the plug in under the head of the bed. —Room # 7.

Will definitely return.

I like everything about this place . I believe it was freshly renovated. It was warm and cozy. I enjoyed both microwave and fridge. It was spic and span. Even though it was on the main drag, I slept all night. Plenty of blankets.

I recommend the following upgrades so that it can be a full 10. I recommend coffee machine needs upgrade to a Kering. The towels should be more spa style and full body style. Shower and taps should be upgraded to be more modernized.

good place to put your head down for a night.

the Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The desk clerk was very nice.

The coffee in room was an instant coffee that had cream and sugar and coffee all in one pouch. We don’t take sugar in our coffee. A coffee maker would have been nice.

Exceptional

I was passing through and had an unexpected break down with my car, I was able to check in early and had no problems booking for another night while waiting. Best service in a while and lately I’ve been taking a lot of hotels. Thank you Pine Grove for making my stay comfortable.

Beds were uncomfortable. Blew a fuse in morning and took over an hour to get power back on
