Just a little get away

Check in was easy, (Ill discuss more on this later). SPRINGHILL offers a little snack area, with all kinds of goodies and drinks love that little touch! Dont worry if you forget something, they may have it. The room was nice and clean. The a/c work wonderfully, we actually had to turn the heater on for a while because we got to cold. The halls were nice and clean, there wasn't any noise we heard. The shower was huge, and water pressure was great. The suite, was very nice, cute living room with its own tv, vanity area was nice to get ready at while someone else was in the shower, they are separated. Great lighting in the whole space. The king size bed was comfy,pillows were super soft, the beds and bedding were nice and clean. We stayed on the 1st floor down from check in as well as the breakfast area. The breakfast area was super nice lots of seating and places to hang out. Love that!! The pool is beautiful, although it's not very big it's a beautiful area. Plenty of tables and chairs out to enjoy the night air. Check out was nice and quick, great customer service.

We had a few hick-ups. Monday when we got there At check in we were told we would have a $40.00 hold but parking would go towards that if we didn't have any other accidentals leaving us to owe 26.00 at the end of our stay. (Parking is $28.00 a day as of Nov 2024) I agreed to that. I later noticed that a additional $50.00 was pending. I went to the front desk and explained my concern. The girls at the desk assured me that this situation would be looked into, and it was the $40.00 hold was removed and a $50.00 hold was applied...ok cool leaving me to owe 16.00 for parking. I am currently waiting to see how this all plays out on my bank statement. ***keep a eye on your bank accounts*** Tuesday morning we went to have breakfast. There was scrambled eggs(powdered kind), bacon, cereal, milk, hot oatmeal and they offered different items to mix in,1 kind of yogurt, they also had toast,bagels and muffins. Sadly they had waffle irons but they were not working. I would have loved to have had a good hot waffle. They did offer oj, apple juice, coffee and water. Wednesday morning, they served egg and cheese omelets (prepackaged) as well as (prepackaged)waffles the size of a mini pancake, cereal,oatmeal, toast. The oj and apple juice was out so water it was. I would liked to see fresh fruits out, maybe even a variety of yogurts to mix in fresh berries. Or maybe things to make a breakfast burrito, There was a variety of different things to eat but nothing had flavor.. Sadly.

It met my expectations and we were comfortable.

Variety of hot cooked breakfast items. It was kept stocked. The sitting area was nice so we didn’t feel cramped.

Breakfast was too crowded on the weekends.would like a little later breakfast on the week days. There was no syrup the entire 5 day stay for waffles. Coffee was always just warm, not hot. TV did not work in the bedroom but just watched the working tv in the sitting room. There was a financial mistake on the hotels part but they corrected it as promised. However; if I would not have caught it, I would have received a sucker punch.

The bathroom curtain was old and dirty but when I asked for a new one, it was replaced immediately.

It was not what we were expecting.

I like that it was within walking distance of the areas we wanted to visit. The staff was friendly but they were only one person and we needed something and have to get it myself.

The room was not cleaned daily. The bed was not made and they did not refill coffee and cups. The iron board was broken, and the iron was not working properly. The only thing they did was take out the trash.

Satisfied weekend stay, Springhill Suites has exceptionally friendly & attentive staff!!!

Nice location, close enough to walk to everything.

The room we stayed in had a very dirty couch that desperately needed cleaning, which we had to use for sleeping. (Thankfully the sheets & blankets were clean so we used layers to cover it up)

Absolutely horrible.

The staff was all so rude and had an "I don't care" attitude. The whole hotel smelled like something rotten had been hidden and not found. The room we stayed in looked NOTHING like the pictures the hotel advertised. It also smelled like warm urine. There was mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The tub was supposed to be a shower and also hadn't been cleaned, as there was hair from the previous guests stuck to the wall in the shower area, and around the toilet on the wall. We had no towels in our room. The carpet was extremely dirty. My daughter walked from the door to the bed in her white socks and they were black when she got to the bed. There is also not enough parking in this location, and most of the spots are under trees. We came out both days to find our car literally COVERED in bird poop. This was hands down one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. And I feel that we were severely overcharged for what we got.

The worst stay in a hotel.

Worn and uncomfortable pillows. Worn and unhealthy beds mattresses, restroom has no lock, and dirty sofa bed matttress bad breakfsat has no options, bad eggs smell, no vegetables, one fruit option, borken toasters, and the kitchen hall has unwanted light smell.

Very disappointed Booking.com didn't inform us that there was a $28 daily parking charge.

Bon séjour avec quelques bémols

Hôtel pratique car pas trop loin du centre ville à pied (15 minutes). La piscine est vraiment agréable bien que peu propre. Les suites sont spacieuses, la literie très agréable.

L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier où il n'y a vraiment rien à faire. Les draps bien que propres étaient tâchés, et le service de chambre n'est pas passé le dernier jour. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas trop mal, même si les oeufs sont souvent trop cuits. Un gros bémol sur la vaisselle entièrement en plastique, ce n'est vraiment pas génial.

Location close to the Riverwalk. Additional solo restrooms downstairs.

The staff and lady (manager) was super rude and unprofessional, they didn’t let us check-in until 3 hours later (6pm) because rooms were not available. There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby at 9am. Not coming back.

It is a great place overall. People are friendly and it's only walking distance to the riverwalk.

Cleanliness, and staff! Staff was always greeting us upon our return and very friendly.

The parking charges. I think it's a little steep to not even be able to park inside the property. We had to park in the parking lot next door which does say $16.

Un très bon moment en famille pour découvrir San Antonio

Le rapport qualité prix impeccable pour la proximité des points d'intérêts de San Antonio (River Walk, Fort Alamo, ....). La compétence, la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel de l'hôtel.

Le petit déjeuner. Amplitude un peu juste, il se termine un peu tôt (9h). Le choix des produits et pas de café un peu plus fort à part le café Américain très dilué.
