compared to breakfasts at other Wyndham locations, the breakfast at the Bethel location was unsatisfactory. Of course, it's a "micro" facility and I probably should have expected this would be the case. Too bad the cost of the room was set at a "micro" level...not good value for sure.

1) room was on 2nd floor, inside access only-NO ELEVATOR. Never in my 40 years of vast traveling have I ever encountered a hotel with the room access only from the inside not to have an elevator. After traveling 12 hours, we had to lug everything up a flight of stairs- ridiculous!. At Breakfast there were no knives to cut the bread or spread jam/cream cheese- was told they had been out for a while. Bags of garbage lying around outside rooms and also after you exit stairs onto your floor. The bed was like sleeping on a slab, hard as a rock. None of the air conditioners were on inside the hotel on the floors nor was the air conditioner on in our room when we entered-hot as hell!

Hallways, lobby, and outdoor areas were kept clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
My original room needed to be switched due to a profound amount of mold discovered in the bathroom of room 216. The staff was able to accommodate the request to move rooms, and the new room - 241 - had significantly LESS mold in the bathroom but the hand rail for the bathtub was missing entirely.

I liked the cleanliness, comfortable bed, great location, close to target, supermarkets, walmart, banks and restaurants among other things.
Breakfast is very basic of the basics. I missed a rack to hang towels.

we love the location
we have stayed here 3 times. This time the room had a funky smell, the hand bar in the tub was missing, they didn’t restock any towels, they didn’t restock room coffee. there were no hooks on the back of the bath door to hang robes.

My pet was able to stay and was well kept when I had business meetings away. Veey convenient to the highway and the pet friendly atmosphere was welcomed. Enjoyable and clean stay. I will stay here again when I return to the area.
The nightly pet fee seemed excessive considering my dog is well trained and sleeps in her own bed. Quite literally, she is a neater guest than I, and required nothing for her stay there. I cleaned up behind her and there was no pet hair present when we left as she stayed in her own bed.

The room was nice and the bed was comfy. There’s a good amount of restaurants and shopping stores like “target, Walmart, dollar tree and supermarkets”
The free breakfast just wasn’t what I was expecting. I obviously wasn’t expecting all you can eat Hot buffet but I also wasn’t expecting just cereal, crescents and bagels. I wanted at the very least a fruit cup or waffle. Also you don’t get house keeping unless you stay 3 nights or more. My husband and I stayed 3 nights and wanted the sheets changed the second day we were there and we couldn’t get a change of sheets or more towels.

convenient for our needs.
stayed for four nights ,room was not made up for those four nights towels for missing for some nights. Had to go to front desk to get towels twice ,very cold this time of year in Connecticut. I needed extra blankets They only had one blanket in the whole facility. very limited selection for your breakfast. Mostly bread products and cereal.,good thing there’s a great diner across the street.

There was not enough coffee products available especially for those that need coffee in the morning in their room. Two pieces of caffeine and non-caffeinated coffee pods should be available in the room
