Very nice retro boutique motel
Nothing

It’s okay. Basic, and definitely overpriced. Parking is first come first serve so we had to park on the sketchy streets, the main reason we got the hotel is because of the parking and would’ve stayed at nicer cheaper places if we knew we weren’t going to be able to park there

Location and size of room
Price seemed a tad high but that’s San Francisco

Great location in heart of the Castro, with clean and comfortable rooms. Big bonus with free carparking. Easy walk to destinations and right on the transport line.
Nothing regarding venue, but SF needs to address issues of homelessness and drugs throughout the City. Did not feel unsafe but could be quite disconcerting.

Clean and comfortable. Great location, friendly staff, ample parking.
Everything was perfect.

From the location to the rooms and staff you cannot go wrong staying here. It is located right in the heart of the Castro .

location to Castro
noise from street.

The location was great. I knew that road and night noise was going to be a challenge so I made sure I had ear plugs. Otherwise, the staff was great in accommodating some last minute booking changes I needed to make.
Hot water could take several minutes to arrive at tap and shower. This was a little frustrating giving the drought messages. I didn't want to waste water, but also didn't want a cold shower.

The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable, and there was a common deck over Market Street which was fun to sit on and watch the city.

Well equipped bathroom with a super nice shower. Well located in the castro area, easily accessable by car, with parking places in front of the building.

The location was ideal for our purposes. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Free parking was a HUGE plus! Our small group of women felt safe and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I will be staying again.
Nothing really. It was exactly as described. Nothing fancy, but clean and safe.

Loved the whole experience.

Good location, the free parking is a huge plus. The people working the front desk were really helpful!
Fire alarm went off a few times around 6AM. Nothing dangerous happened but it was inconvenient!
Otherwise, just keep in mind that you're in a motel and therefore will be hearing noise (cars in the street and your neighbors). Ear plugs are provided :)

Not much. the property was old. There was a musty smell in the room. The location of the motel was a good distance from the tourist attractions.
See above. The room was tiny. The room had a musty smell. The location was undesirable. There were people making noise st all times of the night. One day we saw 2 men walking totally nude down the street, right in front of the motel. When we told several people they asked where we saying. When we told them the Castro section they told us that this type of behavior was not atypical of the Castro section.

loved the motor inn. well maintained, upgraded the furniture so you feel like in a more modern hotel. also has that motor home feeling with outside staircases and hallways. nice terrace right out front so you can see busy market street while sipping coffee
pricy
if you are noise sensitive be mindful that this is directly on busy market street
