Covid has kept everything closed
The room is comfortable and the hotel is centrally located in the middle of business downtown.
First, you pay $20 per day for parking and the deck is a minute or two walk from the hotel itself. If you’re staying on a weekday, the food options nearby are limited since it’s more of an office/business district. Because of Covid (which I view as a crutch at this point) the pool is still closed and there is no breakfast and the award winning restaurant is closed on weekdays. When I pay for a holiday inn, I’m paying for these amenities and there was no warning that they would not be available. Other hotels we’ve stayed at recently have offered “takeaway” continental breakfasts and that has worked great, and I’ve yet to see another one with the pool closed. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve stayed at a different hotel near more little boutiques and food options, but that is my own mistake.

Very nice and clean stay, staff just need to work on their attitudes.
Very clean, great location!
The only complaint I have is the rude staff. I was checked in by a man who was very informative to everyone, as soon as he’s checking me in, he was rude and rushed me! I heard him explaining to others the breakfast times, and etc. did not tell me anything not even have a nice day! I am a people person, I work with the public so I know how to present myself. He was just rude from the beginning. Other than that, no complaints!

The room and staff were great so overall it was a good experience.
Within walking distance of the conference center and good restaurants
Extremely noisy on Saturday night- street traffic noise. The other nights were okay but it was well past 1 am before I could fall asleep.

Everyone was friendly and polite.
Walking distance to commuter train.
Expensive daily parking rate and expensive bottled water.

It has a strange layout.
Downtown location next to the theatre and the smoothness of the elevator.
I HATE the small bathroom, but that the sink is separate from the bathroom. Seems silly. And annoying when using the full restroom. Also, we booked a king, and the room we entered was a double. We had to go back downstairs to get the correct room, but the desk clerk was very nice.

Almost perfect!
We loved how close it was to the Spectrum Center, the reason we booked this location.
The only thing that we didn't care for was the lack of service from the young lady working at the coffee center. I went there because they served Starbucks, but as soon as I walked up, she excused herself and said she would be right back. I waited 5 minutes before walking back. When I walked back to order a group of girls her age walked up and she greeted them pleasantly and offered to take their order. And I was standing there waiting..I ended up leaving and not ordering.
