The room is comfortable and the hotel is centrally located in the middle of business downtown.
First, you pay $20 per day for parking and the deck is a minute or two walk from the hotel itself. If you’re staying on a weekday, the food options nearby are limited since it’s more of an office/business district. Because of Covid (which I view as a crutch at this point) the pool is still closed and there is no breakfast and the award winning restaurant is closed on weekdays. When I pay for a holiday inn, I’m paying for these amenities and there was no warning that they would not be available. Other hotels we’ve stayed at recently have offered “takeaway” continental breakfasts and that has worked great, and I’ve yet to see another one with the pool closed. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve stayed at a different hotel near more little boutiques and food options, but that is my own mistake.

Very clean, great location!
The only complaint I have is the rude staff. I was checked in by a man who was very informative to everyone, as soon as he’s checking me in, he was rude and rushed me! I heard him explaining to others the breakfast times, and etc. did not tell me anything not even have a nice day! I am a people person, I work with the public so I know how to present myself. He was just rude from the beginning. Other than that, no complaints!

Within walking distance of the conference center and good restaurants
Extremely noisy on Saturday night- street traffic noise. The other nights were okay but it was well past 1 am before I could fall asleep.
8.0
Walking distance to commuter train.
Expensive daily parking rate and expensive bottled water.

Downtown location next to the theatre and the smoothness of the elevator.
I HATE the small bathroom, but that the sink is separate from the bathroom. Seems silly. And annoying when using the full restroom. Also, we booked a king, and the room we entered was a double. We had to go back downstairs to get the correct room, but the desk clerk was very nice.

We loved how close it was to the Spectrum Center, the reason we booked this location.
The only thing that we didn't care for was the lack of service from the young lady working at the coffee center. I went there because they served Starbucks, but as soon as I walked up, she excused herself and said she would be right back. I waited 5 minutes before walking back. When I walked back to order a group of girls her age walked up and she greeted them pleasantly and offered to take their order. And I was standing there waiting..I ended up leaving and not ordering.

I chose this hotel bc it is a 3 min walk from the spectrum center where I was going to attend a concert.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Nice clean linens large tv EXCELLENT shower
The bed linens were so soft however the mattress was hard as a rock and is a little lumpy due to buttons being indented in the mattress. I have frequent pains in my back and the bed sent that pain over the edge. However that is the only issue is had and others may find the bed comfy.

Great location to the Spectrum Center! Just a short walk out the back door and we were there!

Location close to concert
No hot water after we checked in and that was why we got a hotel to shower prior to concert.?

The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and the barman was very efficient.
From start to finish, this was catastrophic. When we tried to check in, there was a systems failure which prevented the staff from allowing us into the room and then, when we got into the room, there was no internet. The hotel had no backup system to allow guests into their room - an old-fashioned paper system, for example. Then, when we returned to the hotel late in the evening, we were locked out of our room - a hangover from the system failure, we were told. Then - breakfast. We ordered and then waited an age for the food to appear. It then sat on the pass while staff buzzed to and fro, so the food was cold when we got it. Then the food was not as ordered when we got it, so it had to go back to the kitchen. The final insult was that the restaurant staff were unaware of the hotel billing system and tried to charge us extra for breakfast when we were on a B&B tariff. This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel charging over $300 per night. I have been better treated at a basic B&B.

Very clean and comfortable room- front lobby is under construction though. But no big deal.
No vending machines- no small refrigerator in the room.

It was clean, the front desk was closed so I had to detour to checkin. Also, only 1 washcloth for 2 people. Comfortable beds, overall it was pleasant.
Not enough towels in room, only 1 washcloth and 1 room key for 2 people.

Parking is super confusing. There is a nightclub nearby and it is LOUD outside even on the 10th floor until past 2am.

Location was excellent and staff were very friendly. Restaurant was excellent.
No cold water - ran water for 10 min and it never cooled down below very warm. Door to room didn't close completely which is a safety issue - you had to be sure and push or pull it closed for it to lock securely. Reported this to front desk but not fixed during our stay. The walls are paper thin - man in the room next door was talking on the phone at a normal level and we could hear his conversation as clearly as if he were in the room with us. Same for people in the hallway just speaking normally. Ice machine on our floor was left unassembled so I had to travel to 2 other floors to find a working machine. Reported this and it was fixed during our stay. Card left on bed said we were the first occupants of a remodeled room but the comforter was stained and the handle of the blow dryer was very dirty and disgustingly sticky when I took it out of the bag. Room was supposed to come with a microwave but didn't. No quiet place to work on the whole property - lounge area had loud construction going on.

We attended a concert and the cook opened the kitchen and made us wings. I was very impressed especially since he is a award winning chef. That was a plus and he was soooooo pleasant. The reception staff was great. Made jokes gave directions to the arena. No complaints

Close to entertainment and restaurants.
The upper floor was under major renovations which included the removal of floor tile by way of hammers and drills. The noise throughout the day was overwhelming. This was not disclosed on the website. When staff informed us at checkin, it was described only as, “you may hear some disturbance near by”, when in fact the construction was directly overhead and lasted most of the afternoon as we were trying to rest to go out for the evening.
