Visiting Chicago for the first time we had great experience with excellent staff in Marriott.

Location: very good as we could walk for most of the attractions and to the public transport. Room: is good and clean but need a few more cooking utensils. Breakfast: It is basic and most of the same stuff everyday but it is OK. No problem with that.

It was wonderful!

Very clean and right in the heart of where we wanted to be. Walking distance to great bars, restaurants, entertainment & shopping.

Great value

Location was excellent. The room was very large for Chicago standards. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked the free breakfast.

The only thing that was a little odd was the lobby was on the second floor and the front entrance had a person sitting there, and we weren't sure who they worked for. We had to find a cart and take our luggage to the 2nd floor via elevator which was not problem, but would be if it had been really busy.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. the facility was neat and clean. the breakfast could have been a little more tasty.

It's downtown, so parking wasn't easy to find, or affordable, but i expect that in the downtown area.

Quite frankly because of lack of service,had to have 3 days rubbish accumulate with no change of tow

It was relatively ok but not the same standard as Residnce Inn Redondo Beach in LA

The room was only serviced once in 5 days.It was a struggle to get it done on third day late in the evening.

Room was good and my 2 teenagers didn’t complain

Breakfast is ok, I love waffles but none. My only complain was I stayed there for 50 minutes but none of the worker tried to wipe tables that was used and sanitized. I told the concierge at the lobby heading back to the room

Please train the people on breakfast room to not just watch the food area but also to clean and sanitized table that was used as some people bring small messy kids.

overall, great location, great view, friendly staff, but lacks a bit on cleanliness.

I liked the modern style of the hotel, the view, and the comfort.

my brother stayed on the pull out couch, and it was very uncomfortable. of course I understand it won’t be as comfortable as a bed, but you could feel the springs under the bed. I stayed on the king bed, and you could see all the linen on the bed, almost as if it wasn’t fully washed.

Comfortable accommodations in great location

Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful.

The place feels a bit dated. It was clean and comfortable, but the carpeys in the hallways need sytetched, and the carpets in the room were dated too. Also, the air conditioning was set to 68, which was too cold and it couldn't be adjusted. We finally just turned it off at night. Howevet, I would stay at this hotel again.

We are returning guests (it’s our third or forth booking so we do enjoy staying at this hotel. Please, upgrade the break

The hotel location is great, there are plenty of yummy restaurants in the neighborhood only one block away (The Smith, Havana, Roka Akor which all serve great food and excellent mojitos …) and most attractions are within walking distance, very friendly reception staff, efficient elevators, huge laundry room. We didn’t use the gym room but it looks good too.

The quality of some of the breakfast items is the only thing I would criticize / the only flaw. Although breakfast is included in the room rate, I recommend they pick better doughnuts or better French toasts for instance. The breakfast selection is fairly wide but some of the items should be sourced from better quality suppliers.

The staff are absolutely amazing and so helpful when trying to navigate around the property. The view of the hotel room was amazing. The elevator and lobby area was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are spotless with great amenities.

Great modern look, comfortable furniture/bed. Located in a great zone, views from my room were just amazing. Complementary breakfast was very complete and fulfilling. The team working was helpful always, spoke in a professional yet friendly tone and was extremely helpful and patient

Excellent place from which to visit the city. Expensive weekend price for a three star hotel.

Location was excellent, staff were attentive and responsive. We were given early check in with a room upgrade to a higher floor with a good view of the moon and city lights. Breakfast was adequate, but had enough variety.

The facilities could have been more comfortable: We booked a one bedroom king suite, with one bed and one sofa bed for four adults. Our sofa bed had a very thin, tired mattress and when opened took up almost all the space between two walls.

Very good

Hotel location was ideal for our activities, within walking distance to the river and lake as well as the L train station. The housekeepers were excellent, they always made sure we had enough towels and coffee and were very nice and respectful. The included breakfast was really good every day we ate there.

I didn't realize I booked a disability room - we hated the bathroom/shower situation - the drains were not sloped enough so water pooled everywhere. It felt like we were in a gym. Also the pullout couch bed was very uncomfortable but I guess they always are.
