The room was adequate for my needs
The reason for my rating of BAD is as follows: My room key card did not work, requiring me to walk a long distance back to the front desk. The clerk at the front desk told me that the card key programming machine was not working properly. Even knowing this, she was giving other guests cards that would not open their doors. She knew that my key card would not work when she first gave it to me but said nothing as she gave it to me. This meant that in order to open my room door, I had to walk back to the front desk and request a maintenance person to come and open my door. Further, this also meant that if I left my room for any reason, like to go to my car, go out to dinner, etc. I had to once again walk to the front desk and request a maintenance person to unlock my door. The clerk had no idea if or when the machine would work, yet I watched her give out key cards to other guests that would not work without telling them that the cards would not open their doors. This is total incompetence on her part and showed no care for the guests discomfort. If on the other hand, she was following instructions from her supervisor, then that supervisor should have been terminated. I found this situation totally unacceptable and completely out of character with a quality facility like Embassy Suites. William Blowers, [email protected].

Most everything was OK, but the mini area for a kitchenette needs to be a lil bigger for the larger rooms. Bigger room usually means more people and need larger kitchen area .
The kitchen area in the larger family rooms should be larger for the number of people in the room

Nothing
Everything, is below average cleanliness, rooms maintenance (I had a leak in my room), noise, service, food..
3.2
Room was comfortable and front desk staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast room crowded and staff couldn't keep up with stocking food and beverage.
Grounds were dirty in back of hotel by room 130.
We requested housekeeping one day out of 4 and didn't get any services. Had to call for more coffee, towels and trash removal.

Break fast was great n the boy who was refilling food etc was exceptional I had to back in the room to bring wallet to tip him. Same way with the lady who was making eggs/ olmlet she was calm nnin control regardless how long the line was
We arrived a little after 5 after made a stoo at the outlet to kill time to adhere with 4p policy check in. We had multiple small shopping bags and our travel carry on. I asked if we could get help to get our stuff to the room I was told there is no such service. While I was disappointed about that it was the way the situation was handled. The employee showed no empathy and I had to wait for 15 minutes or more to get the luggage carte. I felt I was looked down as who is she asking for help?? I have been traveling around the world I never reveive such treatment
2. From that moment I am not sure if our room was blocked from services or this is how things run in that hotel. I called three times from my room a little to get extra sheet n pillow for my daughter to use for sofa bed and my phone was never answered. When I tried to call as an outsider using my own cell it got picked up immediately and the person who answered the phone said “not sure I will see wht I can do as I am here by myself” I said I would go downstairs and which I did only yo find out there are two receptionist and another guy behind that could be room service. I picked up the sheet n left.
3 . Sunday we called again to ask for towels our calls were never picked. Around 3 a lady knocked and asked if we need our room to be cleaned we said yes, she said she would have people come in we never see anyone and did not get towels either.
3. Tried to call again as our coffee maker was not working no response
Nb. I thought the phone may be off but Monday 840 am phone rang I guess it was wake up call to get ready to check out?? Never requested.
This was horrible experience and I can not believe the hotel carries big name Hilton but left me and my family in a bad taste. Still looking to address this awful experience with management. Coming from service industry myself it’s not what u can or can’t do for clients is how you handle the situation with empathy and understanding

The location, courtyard & lobby
The rooms were a bit tired. The sofa in the living area squeaked every time you moved.

Breakfast and the Pool. The Hostess, BENJI was dealing with crisis after crisis and I Liked and Respected his manner of keeping his composure. Much Respect. Bravo Zulu.
The ROOM and my Check-In process.Had reservations and was told my room was given away. Hostess checked me into a room that was scheduled to receive maintenance done to it. And it looked like it. Carpets severly stained and upon entering room there was two canisters of trash in the bathroom and the toilet was CLOGGED. Informed Front Desk, it took 1hour and 8min for maintenance to come unclog. Had to leave and go off site to use the restroom. Also, house keeping NEVER came to clean the room or ask if we needed any services like towels, toilet tissue etc. Embassy Suites was a beautiful hotel.I just wished I could have had a better experience to really enjoy my vacation.

Breakfast was good.
The property was filthy. Room had new carpet with wrinkles in it. Tub was dirty. Corners of bathroom were dirty. One bar of soap for two sinks. No extra towels. Everything was budget. Will never stay there again. Knew it had been remodeled so thought it would be better than when we stayed before several years ago. It was worse. Sidewalks were dirty and even if work is still being done they should clean up a bit. I'm a travel agent and will never refer a client there. Hilton should care more about their properties.

Staff is amazing.
This hotel needs to be renovated inside and out. I couldn't believe that Hilton would allow a property to fall into such disrepair. On the other hand, the employees are the best! Housekeeping and maintenance managed to respond to my requests, the front desk staff was always friendly, and the staff working in the reception/eating area kept the area fully stocked and well organized.
3.2
breakfast nie room
a fair amount of noise came thru the ceiling when people above us would move around
3.2
it was attractively landscaped.
The heater in our unit did not work. It was only 60 degrees in our unit. The maintenance man brought us a portable heater but it only heated the bedroom. It was too cold in the bathroom and the living room for us to use. the portable heater was very loud and we did NOT sleep well. We asked the property to comp us for our extreme inconvenience but they said we have to contact you.
3.2
Suite
Old, stained furniture and carpets, refrigerator froze all my leftovers and drinks, no soap on counters in bathrooms, television cable did not work the entire stay (5 days) even after many calls. Calls for housekeeping needs not answered (had to track down the housekeepers). Construction work started in parking lot directly below room at 8:15am on a Saturday morning. Broken light switch in bathroom and leaking bath faucet.

They tried to be better class they just fell short
There was blood droplets on carpet by bed and we never could use either of the two tvs due to no signal. This during time when we should be getting news cuz tropical storm Hillary coming thru

Breakfast was great!!
Everything was perfect!
3.2
Comfy bed and great a/c. Great breakfast selection !
First room I got > room was unlocked and hanging open + all bedding was scattered everywhere. Second room HAD NO SHOWER CURTAIN and limited TV channels. Not to mention I am a Hilton Honors and no mention was made of that. Not a deal breaker but overall not a fantastic experience.
3.2
Alex along with the maintenance man were fantastic, sympathetic and accommodating. Rooms were sound proof and I was never inconvenienced by pool activity late into the evening. Service staff experience from bar to breakfast was very pleasant and accommodating.
Room's sofas and cabinetry were deeply worn.
Elevator windows were obstructed with weathering soot and needed washing badly to appreciate landscape and property. Encountered 3 spiders in my bed. TV was constantly experiencing signal issues, bedside phone had no connection from the phone to the wall. Lamp in front room was not plugged in and I had to move the sofa to locate an outlet and plug it in myself. Room fridge off and not immediately ready to use.
Room prep with a second set of eyes to ensure guests are experiencing clean and fully ready rooms and property to the fullest.

I liked the full refund that was given to us at checkout .
No blanket for the the pullout bed, after calling downstairs multiple times for additional linens , items were finally delivered pushing midnight (11:52 pm). I would have gone myself to retrieve them however my 2 children could not be left alone my toddler was sound asleep, and my other child is to young to go down alone and or be left alone unattended.
The tv had no signal the entire stay as well, no solution jst a ton of apologies from staff.
3.2
The staff were kind. The continental breakfast & happy hour made the stay better.
It was abundantly clear that this used to be a motel that they tried their best to clean up. There was mold everywhere, chipping paint everywhere, the air conditioning unit flooded the room (previous flood stains as well as new ones from our stay). The AC in both elevators was broken. If the staff weren’t so nice this would be the stay from hell.
3.2
The AC went out in the middle of the night and the property didn’t notify anyone that they would be kicking everyone out the next day. Refrigerator had also gone out and was told that no maintenance man was on site and they would send one in the morning. Bugs were found in the room.
3.2

contacted property within required time frame on receipt disclaimer , no response , several times requesting to change to 1 night stay vs 2, prior to our arrival , ( mommy n me weekend with daughter ) I was told upon check in changes were made and it would reflect on receipt when emailed at end of stay , and there wouldn’t be a problem from 2 to 1 night stay and would only be charged 1 night . Its now week later and I’m being told there is no record of change and charged me both nights ?! To me working in customer service for over 20 years , and I trusted this would be done , that was my mistake . May not seem like much $ but to me it’s the principle.
