Fantastic Renovation, Now Fix the Pool!

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! Right when we walked in, our jaws dropped when we saw the fireplace in the modern lobby. When we walked into our room, my husband was grinning ear to ear (he had to work remotely for 2 days during our stay, and was relieved to have such a nice set up!) Everything was clean, modern, fresh, and comfortable. And the BREAKFAST! Chicken and waffles, a breakfast taco bar, biscuits and gravy, real bacon, waffles — we leaped out of bed every morning to get that breakfast.

The only problem we ran into was that the pool definitely was NOT renovated and was pretty rough. It is enclosed, but the windows are open so it’s technically outdoors. The hot tub has been filled in with concrete, so there is no hot tub. The pool got the job done for my kids, but I wouldn’t hype up the pool or stay JUST for the pool. Hopefully they’ll renovate it during a second phase.

The location was perfect 4 minutes from where I needed to be

One of the staff was a bit rude in person and on the phone when I had to call back to see if something my son lost was turned in, then I’m person when I showed up she was friendly. Needs painting

Indoor pool was not good at all but it was a goods night rest..

Beds was comfortable, a safe location and right by the bowling ally.

We only stayed in a hotel to let the kids swim before a zoo day.. The description said indoor pool.. We got dressed and went down only to find open brick windows all around the room, which made it cold inside and the water freezing. That defeats the purpose of a indoor pool, so it was a pointless stay/ waste of $200+. We thought the kitchen was cool when we booked, but our stove didn’t even work at all. Other than that which was our main reason for staying it was a pretty nice hotel. The kids was very disappointed they had their hopes up. One was autistic so that was a huge ordeal!

Had to smell paint fumes during our stay due to construction/renovation. Not happy to pay almost $300 for a sweet th

The bed was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, but the hotel is under construction.

overall not a bad stay, just need to work on some important details

breakfast was good. beds were very comfortable.

shower was not fully clean; mold in grout. bathroom seems to have been recently painted. there was paint splatter on the floor and paint on the shower tile.

Comfortable

Quiet and comfortable. Came with a kitchenette and plenty of space.

Unfortunately, there was a German cockroach issue in the room and the faucet in the bathroom leaked.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. The room seemed clean, but a little cramped for space. The shower looked shabby around the bottom where someone tried to cover some mold.

Microwave was broken. Not replaced just show a way to use it. Breakfast you had to ask them to complete the set up to eat.

Loved everything except the pool

I loved the layout of the room and the breakfast was phenominal. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I didnt like the pool it was freezing and there were leaves and bugs floating. Also in the brochure it said there was a hot tub and when we arrrived it was cemented over other than that we loved it.
