Over priced for the condition of the rooms.

Friendly staff

Very dirty, floors not vacuumed, tables and mirrors dirty, crud on the refrigerator shelves. Could be a decent hotel if they addressed their housekeeping issues.

Huge disappointment

The breakfast selection was ok.

Room wasn't cleaned. There was dust everywhere, wrappers and goldfish crackers from the previous family. The pool had hair floating all over it. Our room didn't have a remote, I asked 2 different front desk attendants if we could get one and one said sorry he can't help me and the other said she would try to find one. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't get a remote at all. There was large groups of people hanging out drinking and partying In the lobby and side entrances until 1am both nights who were super loud. Staff was very suspect. I was really hoping for a better experience based on ratings and reviews.

Despite the lack of compensation for the inconvenience and unhealthy situation the stay was as average as it could be. F

The location was conducive to our needs. The carpeting was all fairly new and halls were seemingly clean.

The dark colored tables in the first room were all smudged with fingerprints and water rings from beverages. The mattresses seemed old and lumpy but were sufficient. When the bathtub didn’t drain I reported it to the front desk…. when it did drain it then backed up other sewage into it. I felt then that was too unsanitary and unacceptable and requested a different room ( could not find a different hotel to stay at or I’d have abandoned that property) and they accommodated me with a room on the second floor. I really feel they should’ve refunded my money and comped me the room for the second night. However it didn’t ruin our stay but it was certainly disgusting and disappointing to have a tub with raw sewage backed into.

I’ve been staying at this property for cedar point for a few years now. I’ve gradually seen it get worse over time. This hotel needs to be better taken care of. The pool and hot tub were dirty (cloudy pool and the hot tub water was a brownish color). The pool was also very cold. I’ve always looked forward to this hotels heated pool so that was very unfortunate. There was, what looked like, blood stains on our carpet and our bathroom had 1 light that didn’t work and 1 light that didn’t have a fixture. The side door security wasn’t working. You didn’t need a room key to enter through it which is unsafe.

the bed was very uncomfortable and the room was disgustingly dirty. housekeeping must be very lazy or just do not know how to dust or clean the bathroom properly. the filter in the a.c was dirty and looked like it has NEVER been cleaned. I took pictures of how dusty the room was. I mean how hard is it to wipe down a headboard or a alarm clock or even the phone.

Pool was cold and the hot tub was almost too hot to sit in. Breakfast was horrible. No butter, no eggs both because they didn't get their delivery yet there is a Walmart not even 2 minutes away. And juice colored water, no flavor. They were painting the hallways and elevator and it was horrible!

Close to cedar point

Our room was disgusting. Blood drips all over the floor, ceiling lights didn't work, bathroom fan didn't work, ac didn't work, room smelled like moldy moisture, sheets felt damp, beer bottle caps outside of room door, hair all over bathtub.

Good

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was on a main road so it was easy to find and it was quiet at night.

I was concerned about all the plastic packaging and disposable plates and cutlery used at breakfast because of the long term adverse impact on the environment. The room rate was expensive.

Kids enjoyed the pool. Location was good, close to nice locations at a fair price. Rooms were clean. Interior atrium was entertaining for the kids.

it’s not so much the property- but the beds weren’t that comfy but that might have been just something from my back issues so again no complaints!

I’ll choose a motel 6 next time

only positive thing I have to say is the bed was comfy.

Room was not very clean. Moved the mattress a little to check for bedbugs thankfully none were found, but there was used tissues and other stuff shoved in there. TV was old and outdated. Lots of unsupervised kids jumping in the pool so we couldn’t enjoy it. Breakfast tasted like rubber, juice was way watered down. overall a horrible place to stay, I could have stayed at a motel 6 and been happier and not spent anywhere near the amount I did on a room. Normally these are things I wouldn’t complain about, but for the price I paid I’m super disappointed! I will admit I didn’t complain while there or bring it to anyone attention so that’s on me but I shouldn’t have to.
