The room was very spacious, and the location great: just a few steps away from Waikiki beach!
The staff was nice and friendly.
Reading other reviews we were afraid that we wouldn't be able to sleep because of the bar in the hall, but despite being right above it on the 2nd floor, we couldn't even hear the music.
The bathroom was really, really small!
The bed wasn't great.

i love staying at this hotel above the karaoke bar. karaoke is very fun there! great drinks, great people. staff is super nice too. free coffee/tea in the lobby. yes you can faintly hear people singing from 7pm-2am but I didn’t mind. I’m a heavy sleeper

didn’t have a pool but that was ok as well.

The price was fair and the location was simply excellent! A stone's throw from Waikiki beach, right off the main walking street Kalakaua, and the fact that it's behind the Hyatt made it super convenient for drop-off and pick-up stations of the day tours!
We read some reviews that the air-conditioners can get a little loud - and it's true for 2 rooms that we stayed in! We could sleep with earplugs though, so don't forget to pack those!

Great location near the beach and shops. A lot to do within walking distance.
Didn't have a pool or hot tub. No coffee maker in the rooms and neither bathroom tub stopper worked for baths.

This hotel is absolutely horrible. The only thing positive thing regarding this hotel is the ABC store 2 doors down and it is 1 block from the beach. The room was smaller then a Dorm room. Blood on my sons Mattress cover, in fact several stains and marks, as well I was told by housekeeping that these are never changed between staff so they dont know if they are dirty. No House keeping, had to request 3 times for trash to be dumped in my room and it wasnt until I made a scene in the lobby until the linen was changed and the trash was taken out. Misadvertised as having a working TV- misinformation. The TV shut off every 10 minutes. Again complained to the staff- NOTHING WAS DONE. The Manager at this location needs to be fired. Her customer service skills were absolutely horrible, telling me not to be upset at having dried blood on my sons mattress sheets. MY SON DIDNT DESERVE THIS ESPECIALLY AT THE PRICE. Manger never attempted to fix my TV for check in after the incident. Black mold noted on the balcony. Stains on the curtains, not to mention had curtains held up by a rope. Had to ask for additional roles of toliet paper- stayed 1 week was only supplied originally with 2 rolls and never check in on. Noise level is tremendous.

Nice staff, reasonable price.
Lots of noise can be heard from outside due to older building and noisy Waikiki. It was like living in NYC

location- close to beach
room noisy, bar downstairs open till very late at night. window aircon noisy and beside bed so sleep difficult with noise of aircon and street noise.
also I requested a late check out till 2 pm( at stated cost of $75). room was not booked for the next day. Advised by desk staff that housekeeping manager had told them that it was not possible even though room was vacant.

The location of this hotel is the only thing going for it. The staff and property was not up to my standards.
I travelled alone for the first time and the lady at the front desk said my room number out loud and kept asking very personal questions while the lobby was full of other guests. Not only that, someone called looking for me and the same lady gave them all of my information with out my consent. Luckily it was a concerned family member but it could have been a lot worse. Very unprofessional. Also, the rooms were not clean. The sheets had stains on them, the curtain and shower curtain have never been washed. Not a good stay.

Great location close to famous Waikiki beach. The tea and coffee table in hotel lobby is great to start your day. Also the hotel staff is nice and try to help. Because of our evening flight, we asked to leave our luggage at reception during the day and it was not a problem. However we couldn't take a shower in the hotel in the evening, they provided us towels so we could take a shower on the beach.
Be prepared to higher noise from the street and surrounding areas.

Location was perfect
Good location for young people or single travellors
Balcony but there is no furniture
The light in the second room was great but the first room was very dark
One staff member was very rude, yelled at my mother asking her what she was doing in the lobby even though she was a guest there.
Rooms had hair in the drain, exposed wires so very unsafe for children.
And very old dark. Curtains torn or dirty with stains.
We did get moved to a better room but thehair in the drain was here also.

Room was ok, except the noise but it’s near to Waikiki so we expected that. The whole experience ruined the lady on lobby who behaved like we bother her with our check in to death.

Location ! you are literally in the middle of waikiki ! While the rooms weren’t lavishly decorated , I was really surprised with the amenities they provided. Hair dryer, iron , toiletries and also free coffee and tea at the lobby (totally didn’t expect from a budget hotel) ! Staff were great too ! totally recommend !
