great breakfast, good location close to everything
in general everything in California is expensive
3.4
Nothing
It was the smallest room I have ever stayed in . There was a cockroach on the dining table when we walked in. Yak! Unfortunately we were in a hurry to get to a wedding or I would have asked for another room or left all together.
3.4
There was no breakfast but coffee was available in the registration area.
The pool did not look like it was clean enough to swim in.
3.4
Room was clean.
Bed was clean.
Bathroom was clean.
Linens were fresh.
Toilet seat was quite close to the floor. Had to squat to reach the seat. Reminds me of trip to Japan.

Location and cleaning
Room: the bed. I had reserved a queen bed and they gave me a full bed, and the mattress is too worn and very uncomfortable

The only thing I liked was the two guys at the front desk that actually seemed to care if we were comfortable in our rooms, and with our stay. One of their names was Andres, the other guy worked at night and was tall. He helped us switch rooms on our final night there. Everyone else we encountered at the front desk was very rude and unaccommadating.
I always investigate anytime I go to a hotel. Beds were fine, there was no bathtub even though that was mentioned in the booking. However that was okay, I continued to look around. The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been, I don't know if housekeeping mops but they should. You could see spill stains on the ground. Also the shower had hairs in it from God knows who. Above the beds were lights and I decided to check them, you can tell they had not been cleaned for months. But we just decided to not make a big deal about it. We call front desk for extra pillows and the girl just immediately says we don't have any, but the next day I called again and Andres said "let me check the back" and there were pillows.
So that 1st girl didn't even look or try to really assist us which was not okay. Then we had our trash outside for two whole days before housekeeping even picked it up, it's like they were ignoring it. Mind you we were there a total of 4 days. So on our very last night the shower starts leaking this yellow stuff and we were on the 2nd floor so I don't know what it was or where it was coming from but it was gross. However since it was the last night and we didn't intend to use the shower we said let's just deal. However after a short nap, I took my dog for a walk and come back to ants in our room. I mean where did they even come from? At that point we had to move rooms. The second room did have a tub which was annoying. But the top of the lights in that room were also dirty, which makes you wonder if every room is that way. Overall for being in Santa Barbara this hotel stay was very disappointing, I would not recommend it to anyone, or stay here again myself. It sucked also because it was my mother's birthday so I was also very embarrassed.

The location
Not clean
In desperate need of renovations
Stepping out of the bathtub is very dangerous
Suggestion: replace the bathtub with a shower, nobody is his right mind will take a bath in a bathtub in a motel. I have yet to stay in a motel that I was compelled to take a bath because of the clean and of nice bathtub.
And even if the bathtub was clean , I don’t want to spend time taking a bath.
The towel holder needs to be cleaned.
At least 1 towels had hair on it; definitely not mine nor my husband’s.
The bed was uncomfortable.

The location
My family and I spent 3 nights at Goleta, Santa Barbara location our check in was Tuesday June 12,2024 and we checked out Saturday June 15,2024 (we got 2 rooms reserved) during our stay we never got room service, even though I requested it and cleaned towels too, they never did our rooms or get cleaned towels like I said even though I request them and that was so disappointing because my family and I had 2 rooms and neither room got “room service” or cleaned towels

Clean room, close to shops, restaurants
No hair dryer

This property is not in Santa Barbara. It’s on the highway close to Santa Barbara, thus extremely loud.
Extremely expensive for what you get. I paid 275usd for a room that was clean but very spartan at best (other Motel 6s in the US cost 50-100 usd) and they gave me a room with a full bed that’s absolutely not for two people?? Especially since this is the US. Outrageous.

Close to grocery stores
Some bugs in the room and I was overcharged

Not sure
We had to stay here because our flight got cancelled due to the storm. Our jackets and shoes were soaked and we dried them in the dryer and it all got all got taken. We asked the guy at the front desk what we can do and he said nothing. The bathroom walls were disgusting.

It is basic room but no special expectation for the price. It looked like workers would rent this property by the week.
Too basic.

Great location, comfortable, clean

I liked the cleanliness and location.
The TV did not work the first night I got there or the next day. At least knock off the price a little of the room if the TV isn't working.
3.4
Nothing
The TV did not work and the Wi-Fi was not working and the sink would not drain

the only good thing was the location
there was literally mold in our shower the first night which I have pictures of on top of everything else being dirty. a hole in the shower tub floor which they’ve tried covering with floor mats which is dangerous as I felt my foot sinking in every time i stepped Over it while trying to shower.
