Comfortable one night traveling through

Beds were comfortable, quiet but we were at end of a building.

It’s a Casino property just rebranded Maverick. Emailed after booking all restaurants closed. Everything these days is blamed on Covid. Slight cigarette smoke about property’s room wings(buildings).

Estuve sólo de paso una noche durante un viaje largo en coche, pero me sorprendió gratamente

La habitación era muy espaciosa, las camas excelentes, baño muy cómodo con bacha en ante baño y ducha e inodoro separado. Me agradó muchísimo tener un Star Bucks dentro de las instalaciones para tomar un desayuno

Housekeeping waking me up at 7:30 AM

Room was old but clean. It was quiet at night

I was brutally woken up at 7:30 by housekeeping trying to get in my room, thats right 7:30 AM on a SUNDAY. I was furious. I told the housekeeping i didnt want them in the room. About 1.5 hours later they came back and i hear them trying to acces my door again. Another 30 minutes later, now 9:30 AGAIN!. The checkout is at 12:00 so i have no idea why they keep bothering me. Do these people not know they work in a hotel?? This is just insane, i have never in my life experienced anything like this

Your staff at the check in,where rude and not very good as a greeter to your hotel everyone says they are short on staff I would not have them checking in people. they could lose business for your hotel

When traveling by car this was a calm stay.

Great spot for us during our travels to Colorado.

Disappointing, our first stay at Maverick and probably would not recommend it.

What went well was the room was nice, and the gym was available.

I understand everyone is short staffed these days and that impacts all areas of business. The staff that is employed is not being utilized to the fullest potential. Having three staff members sit behind a registration desk that is not busy is a loss in other areas. The store inside the hotel/casino was closed during optimum times. The restaurants were closed at peak times. We had a party of four prepared to have dinner as Aspens on Friday evening at 6 pm only to learn the restaurant was closed. When we checked in at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evening we wanted a meal at the diner, and it was closed. We stayed at the Maverick for 3 nights/4 days and never once ate at the property. We did eat one meal at JR's, we paid almost $70.00 for chicken strips, a BLT, ice cream and a cheesecake. WAY TOO expensive for the food.

My room was large and had the perfect desk set up with ample plug ins available for my equipment.

The maids should not come into any room until they are certain of the correct room number. They didn't, and the disturbed me twice first at 07:00 and then again at 07:29. It was awful.

Adequate for a one night stay passing through town

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The coffee pot didn’t work and a lamp, and when checking to be sure nothing had rolled under the bed before leaving, it was very dusty and dirty underneath

Always Exceptional Service at this Hotel

Check-in was quick and easy. We were upgraded to a room closer to the casino/restaurant. Our kids (14/15) LOVE the arcade and have used it every time we've stayed here over the last 3 years. I love having the convenience of a Starbucks right in the hotel!

I believe I won't use either booking.com nor Maverick in the future.

Guests arrived early next morning and wouldn't let them stay as something was wrong with the credit card they had - and they did not have a credit card on file for incidentals. Rooms were booked at office and paid with a different company card. They had to go get rooms somewhere else. By the time office knew what happened - unable to cancel next night.

The fact the booking.com doesn't let you know this is a issue. They should be able to use credit card that paid for room for incidentals.

convenient location

door to outside was not always locked, the security at the pool was a little rude as my children were just swimming in the pool. We were also approached by a off setting drunk man while at my room door with my children.
