I like the spacious comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
Not the hotel’s problem but the city needs to do something about the homeless that surround the parking garage and hotel.

The inner lobby space is very nice. The hotel is conveniently located in the old downtown area of Wichita. There are great coffee shops, cocktail bars, and even vintage shops within walking distance.
I was not at the hotel long enough to really provide any fair criticism. I think they could take a few steps to improve their rooms and give them that same beautiful and comfortable experience that they have captured in their inner atrium.

Room was beautiful! It was well equipped with a full size refrigerator, microwave, & cooktop. Room & hotel was very clean. Parking is free in the garage or flat lot across from hotel. The night I stayed, there was live jazz music. I had a balcony that overlooked the lobby, so opened my door to listen. I was in town prepping food for a family event. The room met every need.

As another reviewer mentioned, the shower was either scalding hot or cold, no in between. My following comment is not the hotel's fault. Homeless population downtown make the elevator & one of stairwells uncleanly - the city owns & tries to maintain them. Park in the flat lot across from the hotel if you can. The police station is right there.

location in Old Town is excellent, fun for sightseeing in the area. The hotel is beautiful and freshly renovated, everything is clean, lovely, and nicely posh. Kitchenette area in room is helpful. Comfortable room. Liked the recliner chair. Liked that there was a bedstand on either side of the king bed. Nice amenities. Good wifi. Good water pressure.
only thing we didn’t care for was that the less expensive rooms (as available on booking.com) apparently overlook the atrium, and sound travels upward from the atrium into the room. People talking, laughing, it carries up. It wasn’t much of a problem usually, and it was quiet during the night, plus we were there off season. However, our last morning there, and wanting to sleep in, a piano tuner began repetitively tuning every note starting around 9:30 or so. We could hear everything, very penetratingly. (We were on the fourth floor). That went on for awhile, it stopped for a bit, then resumed, I think it went on over an hour. Ruined our sleep (husband had performed late-night in a band, and he wanted to sleep in, but that hope was dashed.). Would be nice if such things were scheduled after checkout time.

location and unique decor. very comfortable.
coffee in lobby not available all day. would have been a nice touch as I simply desires to grab a cup and relax in the gathering room to read my book for a bit. otherwise, all was well.

The staff were very very pleasant when we left.
Room size was great love the high ceilings and overall atmosphere.
That the continental breakfast was 19 dollars ridiculous price when all you get is the basics. A lower class hotel offers a better breakfast for free. For that price we expected so much more . We did not eat it just looked at what was offered.

The room was excellent and the bed was comfortable so I slept well. The HVAC system was very responsive to cool the hot room we walked into. There was a nice high-backed reclining chair in our room that my wife and I tried to beat each other to use. I love that they have a noon check-out time. The kitchenette was handy, as was the ice-maker in the full-size refrigerator. My group of friends loved the hotel and its location in Old Town. During our stay, we walked across the street south to eat at two different restaurants and also enjoyed the cigar bar with live music. We walked three blocks west to the chocolatier and comedy club, and also walked a block north to another club. Finally, we got to enjoy the in-hotel bar with jazz duo. It was a great weekend stay.
The water pressure in the hotel was pretty low, both in the bathroom sink and shower. My wife would have liked a bathtub to soak in, but our room only had a shower. There is no pool or jacuzzi.

The lobby and common areas were gorgeous. The room was wonderful had everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable had extra pillows in the rooms too. Stay there again anytime.
They didn't have Pepsi in the lobby where they sell snacks.

Great location, very cozy and pretty room, lovely lobby, helpful staff. It was nice to be in a hotel with character and the price was good especially considering the in-room mini-kitchen!

we went down the street to eat..........no food in hotel, piano bar closed, bed a little too small, too much kitchen for our needs

The beauty of the lobby entranced me. The French coffee in the room? C'est bon! Bath products received A+....Loved the way the washcloths were folded which added to the decor.
Also, safety after 8:00....I had to be buzzed in by staff.
Coffee in lobby wasn't as good as the French in the room. Sorry to say anything negative.

The building was great and very peculiar, with a lot of character and we loved it.
We enjoyed the surroundings and even was so sad to see common areas empty, it was nice to walk around.
There were 2 drunk guest sat down on the floor outside their bedroom after midnight for around an hour or so, talking and bothering our rest. We were very unlucky as the rest of the hotel was so quiet.

Room/bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and quiet
The view. We looked out at a brick wall. No breakfast served and no piano bar due to COVID
