Nothing about this place is worthy of a score any higher than bad. I was severely cut by a broken box spring, pertruding out. It had been there for some time due to the size of the hole. Then, the roof of the shower has caved in, and they covered the hole with particle board on top of the shower. We just left after my injury. When brought to staff attention, no concerns over injury. Their reply " Oh; you should have called us at 1 am no. My concern was stopping my bleeding, which I do have several pictures of my fiancé was appalled at staff response, no concern for our well-being. Never once we're I asked if I was I ok? Called cooperate filed complaint never heard back.
So now I'm going to local media with my claim and video/pictures evidence showing just how bad this place is and management.
Nothing I rather sleep on the sidewalk than stay here. At least I'd know the chance of danger. I'm not expecting to be cut getting into bed. Never was I reimbursed for staying nothing from staff. Booking.com I wouldn't keep recommending people stay at the dive. Bad business.

Clean comfortable room, great location, quiet facility
Area was a little bit seedy, other guest walk on the hallway right by your window (motel)

Good location great price for Sacramento. They allowed me to park my car all day while I attended meetings (and before I checked in).
There are other hotels with more recent upgrades. But overall this is totally fine. If you just want a decent and clean place to stay for the night it will do the trick. Reminder: This is a motel. You park outside on a surface lot and enter your door from the outdoor hallway.

Room and grounds were clean and tidy. Room had everything I could need. Location relatively quiet after 11. Close enough to downtown where all the action is.

2nd time we've stayed here. Usual motel room and there is a lift. Plenty of parking. About a 20 minute walk to Old Town but if you walk in the opposite direction there are lots of different bars in little areas that are like villages. Very basic breakfast available but at least there is coffee and toast!

The location was ideally situated for downtown activities.
The room smelled like a 3 day old piss pot.

Good location, clean, hot water, polite staff.
The room was COLD- I don't think the building has any heating, and even with all the blankets in the room, we couldn't sleep due to the cold. Not a problem in warmer months, but be aware if you're travelling in the winter.

Thus is an awful hotel with unhelpful staff.
They advertised coffee making facilities in the room. However, this was. it true, when I complained to the staff I was told too bad, we won’t give you coffee making facilities in your room.

The room seemed to have been renovated recently, so it was clean. It didn't give you the feeling of being unclean to stay. The location was great! Just two blocks from the memorial auditorium our event was at. Only stayed one night so there isn't much else to review. One night stay for the price was unbeatable. Parking was good too, but spaces can be tight and will get full if others are there for an event. The layout also allows you to be able to see your car from the rooms if you need too.
There isn't much parking, but we did come during an event so just get there early. The water pressure was good and the water was hot, but it took almost the whole shower for the sound in the pipes to go away. The property itself is dated so it's not great, but it is clean and good for what you pay for.

The location is great and the shower was good.
We didn't have a good experience with Econo Lodge. We saw good reviews online, but to our surprise, the overall quality was really not good. They gave us a room and it had a horrible smell, like a dead animal. We complained and they gave us another room, which was a little better, but there was still a bad smell. We regret staying there and we don't have plans to come back again.
