Beautiful views
The pool was empty and being resurfaced but we weren’t aware when we booked. The condo was missing bedroom and sliding door screens when we arrived so airflow through a hot 3rd story condo wasn’t ideal the first 2 days and living room
blinds were missing, broken or crooked and difficult to open. The maintenance number given in the guest book wasn’t answering but the owner was very responsive and pleasant when I reached out the following day. Faux cabin wood paneling was beautifully done but the wood was left unfinished so it made the whole condo feel like a dry sauna in already arid weather.

The condo was not available due to recent snowstorms and and they did not contact to tell us. We drove 6 hours to get here and had to spend tons of money on a hotel and they have yet to refund our money.

great location for ski in/out at mammoth! this works really well when there is ample snow and if you are intermediate skiers/riders

Beautiful scenery / location.
Snow removal, distance to the Jacuzzi facility was really far away for a snow packed road! The “ski in ski out“ wasn’t what was promised! it was literally a hike through deep snow to get close enough to Bluejay to put your skis on. Leaving and returning. For literally the same price and not having to deal with stairs, Sunstone over at Juniper is a way better “ski and ski“ situation and way more user-friendly!

it’s a great location for views and quick access to a base lodge that gets you on the mountain faster
nothing really - it’s definitely rustic but that’s part of the charm

The swimming pool
There is no air cond and it was very hot

the place was a good size, had everything we needed in the kitchen and amazing views. It was nice and quiet for the most part.
The bed was extremely hard. it felt like sleeping on the floor. The jacuzzi was green and the gym was closed. The place was not as close to the center.

Mandatory cleaning fee not being included in the listing price is deliberately misleading and clearly a ploy to get the property a better listing on booking.

View was awesome.
Nice furnishings.
Wi-Fi was not reliable.
King bed was too soft.

old and swimming pool area under construction which was not mentioned.

It was a beautiful location. Clean.
The sliding door to the balcony was broken, it was extremely hot with the fan not working. The only allowed 14 towels before they wanted to charge. We had 6 people for 7 days, so that wouldn’t work. There were also an influx of insects. My kids had spider bites all over them. The couches were very uncomfortable to sit and relax on.

There was more room than I expected. One of the bathroom taps was loose: we told management and it was fixed immediately. The view was great, and the location was close to everything (though not in the middle of activities)
The appliances and furnishing were old but everything worked, and everything was comfortable. Honestly, we were out during the day; you don't go to Mammoth Lakes to sit indoors!

everything
parking was very narrow and impossible task for a SUV to park

Good view with east side.

Pros:
1. Very nice and ultra large matress
2. Water runs nicely with roomy bathtub
3. Located on the relatively upper part of the mountain so very quiet and peaceful
Cons:
1. Garage doors are weirdly sized between the units where the consecutive unit is allocated with the garage door almost twice as big as its neighboring unit. We were unfortunate to have the unit with the tiny door so we barely fit out Expedition but I assume there is a high risk of damaging the car while parking if the driver is not very skilled (my mom used to be a commercial trucking driver and still barely managed so you get the message. 😂)
The management needs to explicitly display the size of the garage door on their ads because I felt like this information was intentionally hidden while keeping the payment non-refundable though I hope I was wrong. I even saw other visitor with a camping car having to park outside the garage because he didn't expect this.
2. The management is not present on the site while the site is lacking the instructions and guidelines severely. I didn't get the impression that the lady who spoke on the phone was friendly either when I called a couple times for questions.
You have to kind of "figure out" things your way at the risk of potential additional charge if failure occurs. 😂 Especially as for the trash bin, it is the gigantic metal container style located near the entrance with the doors in the front which is supposedly the "additional parking" though there is no sign whatsoever, and you are supposed to take the trash out before leaving.
3. The Google map will guide you to take some private road that will block you somewhere very top whilst the most of the roads are missing clear road signs. Had to call the office for this and reroute back inconveniently and quite dangerously due to the road being very narrow. The management needs to provide more guidance with finding their location on their ads if they wish to avoid or minimize annoying calls. 😂
4. It is a 2-story building with not much soundproofing, if at all. You will hear noises from the upstairs including the footsteps. Be prepared.

The property was very clean (except when we arrived we saw several ants on the dining table and on the counter). Other than that, it was very clean.
1 (of 2) front window curtains, and 2 (of 3) backside sliding glass door curtains can not be opened. The room felt closed off. It is unfortunate, since it would have been much better if we could see some trees outside.

heater did not have indicators (HI, MED, LOW) and we were instructed to turn heaters to low upon leaving so we guessed

It was warm and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. We will return next month. Staff was friendly and responsive
Mammoth internet is not great anywhere but staff was there to help

We loved everything about our lodge. The location and view was amazing. The lodge was very clean, cozy and comfortable.
There was a power outage, it got a bit cold. But it has nothing to do with the lodge. We called Tom, he was very responsive and provided great updates.

Okay, the price was too high
