It was located close to family - not many choices in the area.
First off - was clear this was actually a motel. Second the smell. My god the morning smell off the bay at low tide is horrifying. It’s not wonder this area isn’t more developed.

The location is very good. The staff was nice.
The shower curtain was put up in an odd way. Water from the shower ran onto the floor, so towels had to be used to keep from slipping. The breakfast was very small, not even in their regular eating area.

The location on the water was nice. The staff was friendly.
The site and rooms were dated. They seamed clean, but didn't "feel" clean because of the age. The breakfast didn't offer any breakfast meats or eggs. They did not keep breakfast items stocked if they ran out and it was getting close to breakfast getting over.

The location of this hotel is awesome. It's definitely an older hotel but there is a wonderful walkway along the waterfront. It is close to restaurants and right on the water. Free parking and a nice breakfast are good perks and make the stay even more enjoyable.
It's a motel-style hotel so the only window is right on the walkway and people seemed to hang out there to look at the ocean. When I travel by myself I ask for an upper floor for safety rather than street level. Although this didn't happen, the hotel felt safe anyway. I just couldn't keep my window open at night and had to close the blinds.

The location of this Comfort In was stellar. Seeing the Bay and hearing the seagulls was soothing. We didn't hear much traffic noise from our room. Our room was very clean which made me very happy. We didn't have to walk far for breakfast as we were on the 3rd floor. The breakfast room was sunny and bright during our stay. Food choices were plentiful and everything was clean. We chatted with other travelers and truly enjoyed our stay. The grounds were litter free with nice landscaping. This is the best Comfort Inn I've stayed at.
The toilet seat in our room was loose and moved every time you sat down. The shower head sprayed water onto the wall behind it and is causing damage. The little coffee maker in our room was dirty and just too small to use.

Garbage, would never stay again. Room was dirty. Stunk, the linen wasn't clean. Dog fecies on the floor.poor parking. Staff was very unprofessional. Would never stay there again. Way over priced.
Everything was nasty. Slum room at best. Felt like a place that should be rented by the hour. Dirty needles in the parking lot, drug debris scattered around.

Good location, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, solid internet.
Poor sound isolation (fortunately my neighbors were early to bed). Furniture and room were kind of beaten up, still functional but they'd seen a lot of use.

Staff was very nice and helpful
Absolute worst, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I could feel the springs all over

The little beach and walk path was great.
The no elevators was not ideal as the breakfast was on 3rd floor and I did not see on website about no elevator. I was OK but if someone had physical reasons they can't do stairs, this would be a major problem. Remote control for TV sucked and in room phone didn't work. Also the website shows all rooms have ocean and mountain views. This is not true, some rooms have things blocking view,. Especially room 117.

love the location, room facing the waterfront just outside the door.it was clean and comfortable and adequately stocked. Internet service was great.
The disability shower was quite small and the shower curtain kept hugging me as I showered. I noticed that any damage areas were patched quite poorly and just looked tacky.

Staff is friendly, couteous and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Location is within walking distance of several restaurants and stores.
The location of the room. We paid for the water view room. Our room (201) on the 2nd level had one window that is half blocked by the stairwell and the other half also had a post partially blocking the view. There is also no real way to enjoy the view from the room other than to stand at the window. If you're sitting in the chair or on the bed you can't really much besides the stairwell and sky.

The view was great. The bathroom floor was extremely slippery. I first walked in with socks on and slipped, not fell. Was afraid of getting out of the shower with wet feet. Had to be very careful. The staff was great. Friendly and helpful!!

Vey clean and affordable especially for a waterfront hotel.

very pleasant staff at the front desk.
The facilities are run down. It needs updating. Apparently they are fixing up the dining area because instead of a warm breakfast they only offered Cliff bars, coffee and a juice if you ask. The toilet is tiny and uncomfortable. Most motels nowadays have better toilets.
