The room is tiny but it is acceptable and understandable based on what the current competitive price I paid for. But the TV in the room was not working and the towels were not so clean sometimes. The staircases in the lobby was too steep and long to carry up the heavy luggage to check in or check out. The bed mattress I slept was hard and small.
The mattress should be upgraded to the better quality and the towels should be cleaner.

The property is in great location, close to everything I needed / wanted to and see. It’s very reasonably priced and there were no surprise charges, everything is exactly as it says in the listing.
A tiny little mice did sneak into my room, but that’s not the hotel fault, I brushed it out in no time.
3.1
It functioned well as a place to stay and was cleaned daily. It was also close to public transportation.
During late hours, it sometimes look like it was locked (but it wasn't). Neighbor was loud but I could sleep through it.
3.1
Nearby bars and restaurants, cheap.
Tiny room, too many homeless, shit on sidewalks (dog and human), stuffy, hot room, no a.c., 3rd flòor( I'm elderly), roaches.

Convenient area, cost was amazing, quiet, had a fridge and microwave, for such a small room it offered quite a bit,
Rooms were clean but the rest wasn’t the best. The fan in the room was broken, was a very small room but that was ok, bed was hard and very uncomfortable

location, price
bed was fine, but not comfy

We could do early check in.
The hairdryer and the TV were not working.
3.1
it was close to my granddaughter’s apartment
it was close to the street-loud cars, loud music , people hanging out beneath the windows , braking glass, profanity!

dingy

There was no breakfast included. The non carpet floor is good. The room is clean. I like the bathroom in the room.
The room is small. The bed is soft. The room gets stuffy. Location close o bus stop. Some homeless people around but once in the hotel it feels safe. The window has no screen. Careful with the stairs can be uneven.

Check-in was perfect. We arrived at 9.30am but still could get our room immediately. The staff were nice.
Location was okay with BART station and bus stops nearby. However, the area which is near the BART station was a bit creepy. Around the hotel itself was okay, nothing to worry about.
The room is small and serves the purpose of staying overnight only. It’s ok to stay for 2 nights max, not more than that. There is no AC but only a fan so maybe in the summer, it will be very hot.

NO BUGS!!! Having them is a deal breaker. Not having them makes me feel safe and healthy without distress of bites or illness. Be sure to check for red spots on sheets...telltale indication of bugs. Yes, I always check.
Easy check in...if manager Daniel is on the front desk. If arriving early, baggage may be checked while waiting for your room. Housekeeping staff, Paula, was very kind. Leave a tip if you can.
Two sets of clean towels are provided without lint. Clean sheets and pillow cases are provided. Room amenities include microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, and private (small) toilet/shower. That's a great perk in SF hotels...especially post pandemic. Unlimited hot water for showering.
No homeless persons around the hotel...but they aren't too far away. Please ignore them and they will ignore you. They are in a desperate place in their life. Be compassionate.
Walk just three blocks to BART transit and trolleys. Be sure to purchase your Clipper transit card at the airport or any train station. If you're older, be sure to get a Senior card for extra discounts. Several grocery stores are nearby, as well as bars, cafes and restaurants. One of my favs is vegan Indochine three blocks away. Near downtown another veg favorite is Ananda Fuara on Market Street. Trader Joe's is on Market Street at Westfield Mall downtown. My visit was five days with three warm and sunny days, cool nights. Two days were fog and cold winds. Be prepared for the change in weather....and enjoy your vacation.
Not ADA compliant...no handles in toilet or shower...be super careful. Be very careful on the stairs going up...and more alert when going down...very steep. Watch out for the top step! No elevator for three story hotel.
TV remote didn't work. Daniel checked it and said, "It doesn't work," with no suggestion on how to replace or repair it. Mini fridge would turn off and cause ice to melt causing water on the floor...and then turn on to frost again. Mentioned to Daniel, he said, "It's OK." The problem may be the door doesn't shut tightly.
There's an odd, mildew, funky smell in the room which may come from the comforter or blanket. It may not be cleaned as often as the sheets. I placed the comforter on top of the closet and rolled up the blanket to the foot of the bed. Room is warm enough so you don't need covers.
Noise at night until late can be annoying with firetrucks, police, buses, street cleaners, cars, etc. Plan ahead and wear ear plugs to muffle the noise. Eye mask could help as well.
Don't expect the same courteous assistance from apathetic night clerk Victor as you get from Daniel.

Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly They helped me carry my suitcase upstairs. Has a microwave and refrigerator. Housekeeping came one time during my 4 day stay.
Unfortunately, there was a lot I didn’t like about this property. Number one, they kept the door to the entrance open all day and night, never closed it or locked it and being a solo traveler, that’s concerning, as anyone can just walk in without hesitation.
There’s no elevators so it would be difficult to carry a large suitcase up the steps without another hand to help.
The rooms were extremely small. They didn’t have AC or a telephone in the rooms. Had to use my personal cell phone to call the office in case I needed anything. There was a fan in there, but it was very dusty and I didn’t want to turn it on because I was concerned about getting sick or exacerbating my allergies.
I didn’t like the fact that the bathroom sink was outside of the bathroom. It made the bathroom much smaller and there was nowhere for me to place my bath items in the shower since there was no shower shelf, so everything had to go on the shower floor.
They didn’t have irons in the hotel, which I’ve never seen a hotel without an iron. Guess I’m not surprised since I mentioned before that they didn’t even have a telephone and most hotels have that at the very least. Had to use a blow dryer and a little water to get rid of any wrinkles in clothing.
Some floor towels were stained and dirty. The walls were very thin, I could here all the homeless people outside my window screaming and yelling at night or early in the morning. The traffic and buses would wake me up out of my sleep. I hardly got quality sleep during my stay.

the location!
everything else. the bed, the staff, the “amenities” and lack thereof, the 3” mattress.
3.1
No breakfast, too many homeless.
Extra small room, no AC, very basic TV, third floor room ( I'm 70 ), hard to understand manager.
3.1
horrible experience.
the room is literally offset (room 219)
the internet is not working, and when I asked the receptionist he said that is only optional to have internet, and they do not obligated on that.
i tried to make laundry all day but the machines are used by the cleaning lady until 8 pm
and than they all my clothes wasn’t dry enough cause the machine is old and week.

The price was very good. Close to the train station and some fun restaurants/cafes. Hotel locked up tight at night and felt safe.
The location was not good overall, the neighborhood had a lot of poor elements. Also the room was incredibly hot. Zero air flow from the window that went into a narrow alley. Desk fan mounted on the wall did no good at all. Room felt uninhabitable until 10pm.

Price was okay
Absolutely rude and lazy staff at the reception. We arrived at 8.30am and asked if it is possible to have an early check-in (we know that it’s not always possible) and got a reply from a receptionist “what check in? It’s 8.30 am what are you talking about? all rooms are completely booked” …
when I asked if we can at least leave our bags, the guy didn’t even reply and just asked another person to escort us to the room where we can leave it. Few hours later, when we came back and asked to open the room for a second so we could quickly take something from our bags and change clothes to walk around the city, the person who was responsible for the room said “just take whatever you need now and don’t go back and forth asking to open it again and again”. we didn’t even have a chance to change our clothes, he was standing behind us waiting when we leave.
As I said, disgusting staff ruined everything - all what was expected from them is to be polite and understanding :)

Very helpful staff!
Unpleasant smell of the room when we first entered!
Opening the windows and using fan in the room helped get rid of the smell.
Windows & shades and fan worked great.

close to everything
the stairs are dangerous

Its a clean place, not so pretty but still it does the job. Its ok for a short stay, it might not be that confortable for a long stay. It is located in a good place surrounded by restaurants and stores, it is relatively calm area.
No elevator, my room was in the third floor and I traveled with 2 suitcases, this was not good for me.
