A place away from home

I am a disabled woman with a service dog and mobility issues and they were very accommodating to what I needed to have a easy early check in. They offer you a hot breakfast from 6am to 11am the eggs that I got were dried out and my dog wouldn't even eat them and the sausage was edible my diet is high protein I don't eat breads or such they also offer coffee and yogurt cereal and juice. It was quiet and I felt safe I would stay here again in the future they have a small swimming pool and it was closed for my stay. I am a picky traveler I was able to contact management any time threw email and that was nice to use setting up my stay manager dev patel was professional and kind.

It wasn’t bad, I just expected better from Best Western brand

Nice location. Obviously been upgraded recently.

Shower fixture was messed up, no hot water first night. Cable went out morning after check in and wasn’t repaired. Hallways were super musty smelling.

Overall, we liked it, the staff was very friendly.

good location, clean, good breakfast. the only thing near the hotel (where palm trees grow) the child was bitten by a red ant and the child began anaphylactic shock (severe allergies), he had to go to the ambulance. but it's not the hotel's fault, just be careful.

There was a strange smell in the room, I don't know if it was damp. and there was a very big cockroach in the room

Avoid this property at all costs.

Literally nothing.

Beds were like board planks. In all 3 rooms I attempted to occupy. Dev suggested my son and I sleep in one bed since the other was rock hard. Kinda had that sickly sweet smell of weed. And they burned the welcome cookies!!

The staff was very friendly. The rooms where clean. This place close to walk to Patriot Point is the cooler season. The Pool was clean. Great Value

the powder scramble eggs. But the day they had cheese omelets was great.

We will not stay here again.

The location is convenient and the hotel is easy to locate. The grounds are well maintained with mature trees. The area is safe. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the heart of downtown Charleston.

We were in town for our son's graduation from The Citadel. We knew we were staying in a discount hotel and were not expecting anything special or fancy, but we did expect for the property to be well maintained, clean and for the staff to be professional. The room had a very bad smell. The sheets were worn out and pilled. The shower didn't work at all - the water would not come on. The staff was sloppily dressed and indifferent. Overall, our stay was very disappointing but thankfully it was just for one night.

It was ok. Very standard with a good price.

Great location. Outside very pretty. The breakfast -waffles were fresh of course. Room was standard. I like you had the USA Today and the shampoo etc in the bathroom.

The room could add another mirror. Counter space in the bathroom was small. Had a problem with overflow with the toilet. The front desk clerk tired to get us another room. You were booked which is good for you. I ended up leaving. The clerk was ok-not sure if she cared if I left or not.

The pool area needs immediate attention. no towels, Ladder broken in pool, lots of debris in the pool. makes me wonder if it was even clean for the children

Front desk clerk was very nice and friendly Outside was very pretty.

Hair dryer worked but had to play with the switch. Drain plug to the tub was just laying on the side of the tub. Toilet seat was loose.

Front Check associate very friendly. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Couldn't hear anything in the hallway.. Location is excellent. Wifi easy to sign into and use. Complimentary Breakfast is absolutely delicious.

Great hotel but the staff are not what they should be, There was no hospitality from any staff.

The room was great and the breakfast area was clean and the staff kept it stocked.

The front desk staff were not there when we got there (2:30ish) When she did come (3:00) she was not very friendly. She was not rude but she was not friendly either. She did not apologize for us having to wait.

I'm a double lung transplant recipient. That's why I asked for a room with no carpeting, which we got. The room was musty and I couldn't change that, so I slept with a mask on to breathe cleaner air. When a guest needs a specific type of room, please be sure to open that room well before the guest arrives. I didn't request that the room be aired out before we came. I just expected that it would be. And it would be nice to have a channel guide for the television. Everything else was great! If we can get rid of the musty smell, we'll definitely stay there again.

Great Hotel Close To Everything

We booked due to me having surgery at MUSC. It's only 10 mins away from the main hospital. Tammy was wonderful telling us about all the news updates that have occurred since our last stay a year ago.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Smelled amazing. It was quite and my husband enjoyed the free breakfast.

Would definitely stay again!

The location was perfect, the staff were friendly and we were able to leave our car there while on a cruise.

The bathroom is in serious need of maintenance, the tub/shower water took FOREVER to come on, then when it did it wouldn't shut off. The toilet ran nonstop day and night which was loud enough to keep you awake. The maintenance person tried to fix these items, but nothing helped. There are power cords every where, but when we tried to plug things in the outlets, none of them would work.
