Beautiful location, close to many activities. Room itself was clean and mostly comfortable.
The bathroom was awful. Towels and washcloths were old, thin and very rough. One washcloth had 3 holes in it. The bathroom door bottom was very damaged like it had been chewed off by a big dog.

We walked in the room and left so we did NOT spend the night so NO breakfast.
Everything. We left and did NOT stay there.
The manager was bad. He even swore at me when we left. A door was open to their laundry room and there were dirty linens and towels everywhere in the room.
The blinds were broken and partially hanging there. You should DROP them from your site!!

Quaint and clean
Possible prostitution next door. Girl living there with two young men. They were being thrown out by manager. Did not feel safe there.

The location between Bryson City and Cherokee.
Wrong room. Didn’t get a door to the balcony. Was supposed to get a queen room with one bed and door to the balcony. What they gave me was a room with a full size bed and a twin bed and a window looking out to the balcony.

The room wasn't ready when we arrived at 9pm. Peculiar odor in our room. The shower was absolutely disgusting.

Nice room right on the river.
The guy running the place is also selling meth out of it . It was a crazy stay . Cops showed up because of a dog kidnapping.

This is a sweet old country inn like I remember staying at on mountain trips as a child. It sits on the river, was comfortable and we slept well. It was only a few minutes from Bryson City, where we needed to be early the next morning.
We weren't put in the room I reserved, and it appeared someone had used the shower (bar of soap & washcloth that weren't ours). Aside from that, it was clean. Since we checked in very, very late, and stayed barely 8-9 hours, I did not complain.

Was between the two locations I wanted to visit and was, for the most part, very quiet.
Accomodations looked nothing like on Booking.com. floor was filthy dirty with crumbs near the bed. Entire hotel was cluttered and messy.

The bed was comfortable, The deck and river view were pleasing.
When we arrived we learned the king room we reserved had ben given to someone else. We ended up settling for a queen rom due to the time. There was no housekeeping on the premises while we were there. The bathroom was very unsightly. The caulking looked terrible. The water was by far too hot, and likely a violation of NC code. A surge protector running from an inexpensive extension cord was attached to the wall, and the microwave, coffee maker and lamp were plugged into this. The microwave kept cutting off. There was a fireplace hearth located at the entrance door. It was covered by carpet where it was not visible, and easy to trip on. If one was 5'8" or taller the shower head was too low. There were bags of trash and towels left outside rooms on the sidewalk for days. There was rarely anyone in the office. There was no pace to hang your cot. There was a rack, but it had no hangers. We had to buy some. There ws no hair dryer as advertised. The "manager" told me tree times he would get us one, nd never did.

Love the location and the view. The room was a good size and all in all it was very comfortable.
The towels were very stained and looked dirty. The bed sheets were stained. There was no trash can in the room. Housekeeping did not leave adequate coffee and supplies as requested.

We chose this hotel because of its good value, but also to enjoy a few hours sitting on the back deck overlooking the river. The charm of this place is that it‘s not a box type, corporate-run hotel, it’s a local business run by people who are part of the community. It‘s older, but very clean, the rooms are nicely decorated, and the covered back deck and river are the bomb. Even nice during the rain! In-room coffee, all the regular stuff you need for a comfortable stay— all that was just great. Who wants to stay in a box-hotel when you can overlook the river?
Nothing, all infos were accurate.
