Hotel & Room Cleanliness
No complaints
4.2
The hotel overall. The cleanliness, the atmosphere.
Room had a light not working, and a desk chair with a badly peeling armrest, that didn’t match the overall feel of the hotel.

Location, Location, Location. Beautiful room and view, and the staff were exceptional.
Parking is not free, it is $70 per night and only valet parking, and they claim there is public parking or on street parking, but both are always full. Not to mention, the valet gave themselves a $29 tip without my knowledge.

I did appreciate the hospitality of the staff. Since this was my first time at a hotel like this, it was really appreciative to know that I can ask questions. The Cafe options were very delectable as well. As a female traveler, it was very comforting to know that even the elevators were key card accessible only.
My family member and I had an event to go to that lasted late into the night, it would've been helpful to see if the dining options (inside the hotel) were minimal(having light meals) instead of opting to do delivery. For the price I paid-as well as being a first time bonvoy member and first time guest-i would've liked the wifi and meal options to be a little more accommodating. It was a little disappointing to know that it was only for elite members and up.

The view of the atrium was stunning. The access tunnel to the convention center was super convenient
Beds were a little rough.

Convenient location near the convention center
The lobby furniture needs complete renovation.

They had a pipe break. I didn’t get the room I booked. They made me switch rooms the next day and they didn’t keep any of their promises to make up for the move.

Staff, old room, broken things in the room, bed not comfortable, noisy

We checked in super late. I called the property to let them know we would be in late. When we ch3cked in they referenced that call. I requested a room close to the M lounge since we were arriving lat3 and the really followed through .
M lounge was always fully stocked and staff was very friendly.

I love that the property was very clean and staff members were accomodating. There's a starbucks on site and a bar with decent hours.
Breakfast was great and the area is very walkabale.
This was my second time staying in this hotel and there were problems with the A/C on both occasions. We couldn't get cool enough to sleep.
I dislike the cloth headboards and wish they would replace those. I also wish they would make wi-fi free for all paying guests, not just those who book directly on their site.

Yes lots of options for dining at all times!
The housekeeping was 5/10

Location
Too expensive, dirty, hidden fees
Parking is 65 per night, anywhere else is below 55
You need to pickup whatever you order for roomservice unless you want to pay an extra 6 usd.
The initial booking for 2 night was around 540 but we ended up paying around 690 usd.
Peeled headboards and walls, teared curtains, with stains, blood on the walls in the bathroom and smelly shower.
Almost no shower gel and shampoo...on the wall for 350 per night:D
And only one small bottle of body lotion for 2 persons
The cheapest toilet paper
Breakfast is a la cart with no healthy options
You are forced to spend a 25 usd credit per day in the hotel's restaurant
Reception was a mess ... 10 persons in a queue, no one explained how breakfast and roomservice work
Checking out took 30 mins - they charged us extra and had to check with the breakfast restaurant
Not the first marriott but for sure will be the last

When he left the room and after hours I returned to the hotel, I told them I forgot my phone in the room and wait lasted for more than two hours and they told me the cleaning worker did not find any phone in the rooms and the security of the hotel. He told me that there was no phone in the room. The room was searched, but we will make sure that the cleaning worker again, and even the receptionist evaded and some of the staff who were present at him, my question to them, they say Landry and in the end I got out of the hotel and they did not tell me anything and when the call in my phone was closed and knowing knowing that the phone battery was in it was incumb and then ask them again that the phone was working and not closed, please pay attention to your belongings and make sure well before leaving from the hotel on your luggage
