Location
Sheets/ bedding very thin and worn

The room was okay, comfortable bed.
The hotel was right beside train tracks, trains were going by all night long, clattering by about every 15 minutes, giving two incredibly loud hoots as they passed by. We didn’t get any sleep at all.

Walking distance to restaurants and shopping downtown
Noisy due to clunky elevator and freight trains

Smelly rooms and hallway, elevator was death trap

Management and staff was HORRIBLE AND RUDE! They made a mistake at check in and in the middle of the night disturbed my sleep. I came downstairs and told him I wasn't happy he woke me from my sleep and Management response was "at least we didn't wake you at 1am" unacceptable and rude. If that's how you represent your business how careless and terrible. Never staying here again. Don't waste your money here.

room was good staff was friendly at checkin
elevator was a little sketchy. one was not working at all.

Location to downtown and to my uncles funeral.
Hallway smelled terrible!!! I am guessing the carpet is super old.
Room smelled bad. The carpet?
Bathrooms in the lobby and breakfast room were locked. I am guessing if they can’t be used than they need not cleaning.
Taped up paper signs EVERYWHERE!! Looks so cheap.
When checking in, employee at front desk had no idea of anything in the local area.
Hotel had no local map of restaurants.
In the morning, different employee at front desk would not even reply back when I started with good morning. Ruins the day.
The entire area you stand on in the bath tub was either worn to a different color or the stick on stuff was nasty dirty.
Hall to breakfast area had a table strangely positioned to block half of the hallway. Looked out of place and cheap. Maybe even a fire hazard.
One elevator was not in service. How long has it been not in use?
The other elevator worked but one it seemed like a service elevator and it was always and inch or more off it’s mark. Trip hazard.
Outside pool closed and looked sad.
Cream beef was cold at 0830.
Beds might be worn. Not sure. The age of them would tell you.
I never ever wrote a review. That should tell you how bad I think this hotel is.
Corporate NEEDS to do a surprise inspection!!!
I am confused why Ramada has its name on this location. I wouldn’t if I was the CEO.

It was fine
One side faces highway and railroad, you probably don't want that side.

Price, location, clean, and comfortable.
Left elevator is a tripping hazard, and jerks when stopping. It caused my back to hurt.

It is very convenient for the venues that we attended
There was a basketball tournament. The kids were very disrespectful and inconsiderate. Slamming doors. Placing their trash in the hallway. It was in front of my door. I and to step over the trash to open my door. Therr was no breakfast provided be cauce of this tournament. I didn't get what I paid for...

Rooms were dirty! And had the bathtub back up after shower. Filled with sewage. Sheets had hair on them. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

location
my room was not clean. I checked in at 6:00 PM. There were skidmarks in the toilet bowl, something dried and crusty all over the remote. Pubic hairs in the bathroom. The tub filled with water, while I was showering up to the rim and did not drain. there were stains on the towels hanging in the bathroom. Rather than change rooms because I was exhausted and I assumed this was the standard for the hotel. I used my Clorox wipes to clean any surfaces I would be touching, including the remote. Bed appeared clean,, thank god. I would not stay again or recommend.

The location
The staff entered my room twice while i was inside with my girlfriend and the do not disturb sign was on the outside of the door without permission and uninvited , they opened my door and said house keeping 1 hr before my checkout time I and I told them to leave , then 30 mins later another employee does the samething and almost walked into the room with my girlfriend in the shower and said oh sorry house keeping again like it was soooo disrespectful and and invasion of privacy and then to top it off I go to the front desk and make a complaint about it , and afterwards me and my girlfriend decided that we would extend our stay one more night because of possible bad weather . 15minz after we go back to our room a 3rd employee knocked on my door and only my door and asked to check my toilet when I never said my toilet was malfunctioning or called the front desk about the toilet . I then pack my things and left and asked to be refunded . They took 39 minz to do the checkout and told me it was and early checkout fee , then when I see my receipt I was charged a smoking fee when they never been to my room prior to checking and I did not smoke in the room it was the worst experience ever and it took me 90 days to get my funds returned . I would never!!! Stay at that hotel again I would sleep in my car before I stay their.

Staff was friendly and the location to Baltimore Street and Canal Place in downtown Cumberland is great. The pet friendly room clearly had new floors which was awesome.
The shower curtain was dingy, the breakfast is severely lacking (just bananas and honey buns), and there was a massive water leak the day we arrived that effected several floors. I love downtown Cumberland but this building needs major updates. Update just 2 floors and there would be a massive improvement.

I use this as a starting point for the Cumberland and Ohio canal trail to Washington DC. I stored my bike in the room with me. The rate was reasonable and The accommodations are on par with Ramada
The breakfast was lacking and there we're very few people using the restaurant or the provided breakfast.

Room was not super clean....

Spacious, beds and pillows good, liked mini refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast attendent friendly and was helpful
The "hot " breakfast could have been better. I wished there was more protein choices. Like bacon and sausage and scrambled eggs. But the waffles were good. Alot if people limit their cards. Only yogurt available. Ice was only available in 6th floor, not very convenient.

The mattresses are horrible, need to upgrade those
