Beautiful boutique hotel. We love this place! Comfortable rooms, pretty and super clean. Everything is there (and in it´s place), well designed and thoughtfully arranged. Loved the little patio area and the filtered water (hot/cold) tea station. Great hospitality by the owner (Kathy) & a priceless service! We received fantastic recommendations for restaurants. One feels warmly welcomed and immediately at home. A wonderful place to stay in Austin. We will be back, thank you so much, Kathy!

Honestly, this place is great. When it comes to the staff, everyone was so nice and helpful. The room itself was well maintained and truly had the most comfortable bedding, ever.
Don’t be fouled by the location, if you walk 5 minutes you’re on the main strip of East Austin; which was fun and felt local.
There’s no food onsite, but there’s so much around it’s not a problem. I highly recommend the coffee shop two doors down, but there really is so much within a 5 minute walk.

Loved all the small details that Heywood Hotel provided that made our stay exceptional! The toiletries-Kevin Murphy hair products, left my hair soft and hydrated as if I was leaving the salon. The welcome chocolates from intero were so delicious, I had to ask the front desk to purchase some more. The outside patio area was the perfect spot to enjoy our complimentary zilker beers, tea and coffee.

Landline phone outside the reception that I could use to call for a taxi. Friendly & helpful staff; homely environment. Bus stop opposite & just outside. The hotel brochure on Antique & Vintage places in Austin
Distance from the Austin Convention Center & my booked taxi did not arrive; had to call for a taxi; just made it for my presentation.

Really enjoyed our stay at Heywood Hotel.
We were well received by Kathy and stayed in a wonderful spacious room. The attention to detail was evident and they went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and safe vis-a-vis COVID. We made use of on site bikes, which was a great way to discover the neighborhood which offers some great dining options.
