I liked the location. The pool looked nice.
The breakfast was mediocre. Not much selection for “hot” food. Switch for heat lamp in the bathroom was broken. We couldn’t get just the fan to run on the air unit.

friendly check in staff
pop machine was out of order, cleaning staff needs to make sure all trash from previous guest is taken care of and replace all the towels and not just the wash cloths and hand towels Had too use a hand towels to dry off with after showering. ice bucket and cups need to actually be in plain sight and not sitting under the nightstand!!!

The bed was super comfortable.
The pool needs to be relined, the breakfast was non existent. The 4 biscuits that were there were hard and dry. There was no juice in the juice machine, if you're going to offer a breakfast, have a breakfast to offer.

The room was nice, big and clean.
The water in the pool was freezing. They said it was 84 but my husband and I swim a lot and it was not 84.

Thank you for a comfortable night's rest after a long day outdoors! It felt great to just relax and rest!
Nothing to complain about all good

Good choices for breakfast, such as cold cereal, hot oatmeal, bagels, boiled eggs, toast, biscuits and gravy. Coffee and juice.
Location was fine and easy to get to.
Bed was a little to firm for me.

well located for a wedding we were attending. good breakfast. comfortable beds. clean and quiet
No elevator. hard to keep the room cool. had a strange chemical odor, we had to open the window after room was cleaned

The room was nice and clean, the heater worked well, lighting was good. Parking was handy on the rear of the building near our room. Checking and out staff was efficient and friendly.
The shower controls were a bit complicated but worked well. The mattress felt comfortable at first (Room 230) but realized I was sleeping in a bowl. I’m only 125 pounds so mattress needs changing more often! The coffee in the room was of low quality. Breakfast options fairly standard, pastries of low quality, the yogurt choices good. The coffee much better quality than in the room.

location
old and need of an upgrade

It was very clean. Staff was very friendly
breakfast needs a huge upgrade. Basically all dry foods..toast, bagels, cereal. Biscuits were very dry even with the gravy offered. I would have like to seen eggs/sausage, waffle maker like most all hotels have now. Even some fresh fruit options for those of us that can’t have all those carbs.

Comfy and quiet facilities.
The price. It was difficult to cool off the room.

There was nothing I particularly like about this hotel or this hotel brand.
One can definitely tell that this is an older hotel. It felt dated and dingy. It wasn't necessarily dirty but, felt like it was. The queen size rooms apparently are all ADA compliant, this attributes to a large bathroom with a pedestal sink and hardly any room in the sleeping/lounging area to relax. It felt cramped. The hotel was sold out but I was able to move in to a king bed room. Although, it was larger, i still had a dirty feel to it. If given the choice in the future I would select Motel 6 over the Baymont brand. I have stayed in two of this brand of hotel recently and was neither impressed or satisfied with either stay. I don't believe I will ever book with Baymont again in the future.
