Overall we had a pleasant stay and again I cannot say enough about the staff. I would stay again.

The hotel is well placed and easy to find. It is close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. The drive to the expressway to go to Cincy and Convington is short. The staff is as nice as you could ever ask for. The room was very well sized and was set up well. The kitchen was like one in a small apartment and had a full refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, etc. There was a table perfect for dining or working at. There was a living room area with a couch and chair and they have DirecTV service. While there is no door to separate the bedroom from the living room it is set up in a way to define the two spaces.

The only thing that kept me from giving it an exceptional rating was that my room was dated and had a few issues that can easily be resolved. I noticed while I was walking though that it appeared as though some of the rooms have been updated. Unfortunately mine had not. There were a couple of large stains on the carpet. The refrigerator was leaking water ( I believe from the freezer). The shower in my room wasn't the glass enclosed type it was the open floor. When you showered the end by the faucet wasnt angled right or whatever and water went outside of the shower and under the sink. The bathroom could also use some touch up painting on the door and door frame.The mattresses could also be a little better. Again all things that can easily be resolved and not enough to give it a bad rating but kept it from being exceptional . I'm sure that once they get to that room all of this will be addressed. One suggestion would be to put in a way to truly separate the bedroom from the living room. Even if it just an accordion door or something similar. That way if one person is tired and another wants to watch TV or work it won't disturb the person trying to sleep.

Exceeded expectations

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was bigger than expected, which is always nice. The inside and outside of the building were clean. They have a very nice pool and patio area for guests to use. We would definitely stay here again.

A good low cost offering.

The cost was very attractive. Check in was efficient and friendly. Location was good with plenty of restaurant offerings nearby. The room was basically clean. Great rain shower. Well equipped kitchenette.

This is an older property and the furnishings could use a major updating. The rug in our pet friendly room was well stained (not by our dog). Unfortunately it appears some pet owners do not pick up after their pets which is not the properties fault but does reflect on the grounds. Breakfast was basic and not up to the norms of many hotels (no fault of the attendant who was very friendly). You get what you pay for and that's fair enough.

Perfect for a stop overnight

The Ashley is always clean and accommodating. The pool was open and so cozy to sit by in the evening after a long drive. The room is so spacious and has everything you could ask for.

The only negative is the very small breakfast area. It is well organized but it's just small and hard to find a seat if there are even a few people in there. But overall, still nice.

Great value for a great stay

The room was very big and had a full kitchen which we were not expecting. It was a very nice and welcome surprise. The pool was perfect and very clean. There was a small selection of DVDs in the breakfast area that you could take back to your room with you. My kids got a big kick out of choosing a movie to watch before bed. There was also a bag of microwave popcorn left for us in our room which completed our movie night experience. The lady who worked breakfast was so incredibly welcoming and helpful. It was pretty busy and she overheard my son ask me for some juice. Without hesitation she poured a glass and handed it to me. It was very thoughtful and kind of her to do that to help me out. It was overall a really great stay for our family.

Unique hotel find.

Pool, booked one that had kitchen, grab and go breakfast, shower was super nice, full size fridge extra futon sitting area, location easy to get to everything, clean good value and safe area.

Room smelled heavily of cologne like full bottle had been dumped. Beds were old spring style not that comfortable for multiple nights, could hear people running in early am above us and doors didn't keep hall noise down much.

Wonderful!

Full kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, full refrigerator, dishwasher with all soaps), outside pool and they put a brand new grill (similar to a black stone) in while we were there. Breakfast is all packaged but great variety and April is the breakfast gal. She is absolutely lovely! Everything was wonderful! Location is great!

Didn't get to stay. MGMT did not have a key in the drop boxes when we arrived.

I made the reservation on Booking.com and when I arrived at the Hotel, after the office closed, there were no keys left and no one to contact so we had to find alternate accommodations. I understand that we get charged regardless if we stayed but this was to no fault of ours! Management did not leave the room key in the drop slots.

A nice stay but it began with a snafu

Breakfast, Covid style, was pretty good. The kitchenette was very nice. Overall, the kitchen was dated but also functional.

They were supposed to leave a key for a late check-in but never did. Apparently, a long-term business guest found out he had to stay longer so our room was no longer available. They could have contacted us about the problem. Also, the night manager never answered the phone. At 5 am someone came to start breakfast and let us in. She also arranged a temporary room for us. They went out of their way to rectify things but things started off very rough.

Everything about this place was delightful and we would definitely stay there again.

I loved the quaint house on a beautiful tree lined street. The inside with its high ceilings, antique furniture, coffee bar, and comfortable bed was a delight. The beautiful bathroom with its white tiles and gold fixtures was a treat! The heated floors and large shower were the icing on the cake!

Infuriating, lack of assistance in an emergency key card situation. No refund. I slept in my van.

I have stayed at Ashely Quarters several times with no problems until my stay over the weekend.

Poor staff communication and unable to assist with an emergency card key issue. No one was at the front desk nor would answer their phone or the night staff phone line. I was locked out of my room and had to sleep in my van.

Reasonably priced and close to Cincinnati, comfortable beds, laundry facility & pets allowed.

Staff was helpful and friendly, great location, a very homey feel, excellent laundry facility, and being able to borrow DVD movies and play them in our room was a bonus. The rain-head shower was wonderful! Appreciated a list of attractions in the surrounding area.

We failed to realize that it was a pet-friendly hotel, so that's on us, as we're not "pet people." The carpet was wrinkled in a few places (safety hazard) and the bathroom wall had not been cleaned.

All in all, I would recommend.

Location was good, nice and quiet. Breakfast was a basic standard, not bad. Eating area was a little small, but it worked.
