Nothing
I was locked out of the unit for the entire stay and the property manager continuously lied when he documented anything on the website. He never responded to any of my phone calls or emails forcing me to pay for alternate accommodations. To date, he hasn’t offered a refund.
The total unresponsiveness of the property manager, leaving me endangered and his subsequent lying about everything. I had to call the sheriff who was able to assist but informed me that I had the right to press charges against the property management.

Great location if you're visiting Badger pass in the winter or same area during the summer.
The hosts are very responsive and will answer your questions very fast.
We did encounter some hiccups, but the hosts helped us resolve them fast despite the late hour.
Hosts/managers also seem to listen to the feedback here so some of the problems that were mentioned in previous comments have been addressed. The room does not lack heating.
Technically it's an in-law unit adjacent to the larger house. You can hear some noises from the guests in the main house, as well as when they use the bathroom. We encountered some hiccups during our stay, although hosts were responsive and found solutions quite fast.

Great location in the park. This is a rare benefit and made the stay and other minor inconveniences worth it.
Kitchen was well equipped.
You are in a national park - who cares about streaming videos or fast wifi? Bring a book, go to bed early, and get out there to enjoy the day.
Other reviews provided accurate information - expect to shovel a fair amount of snow to get into the room, there is a problem with the thermostat/ it is very warm, it is a bit noisy from dripping/indeterminate sounds during the night from the ceiling.

great access to cross-country skiing
wiFi is flaky, but so is the WiFi everywhere else in this area. Icy driveway. Coffeepot was missing.

the apartment is really warm including the bathroom. for some reasons it’s a rare thing in this area in winter time.
location is great and beautiful too!
note that likely need chains
some of the utilities are broken, like the tap.
entrance wasn’t cleared from snow, initially I couldn’t understand where is the entrance because of that. and afterwards it was inconvenient to unload.

It was cozy and we had pretty much everything we needed right there. The driveway was plowed so we could park our car, which is an improvement from another time we stayed here in the "A" unit and we had nowhere to park because no one had taken care of the mound of snow in the driveway. Everything was working well (showers, kitchen, etc). When I couldn't get into the frozen dumpster, the hosts were very gracious about me leaving the trash in the unit. Checkout time is pretty generous at 11am. The location is great. Loved that we got to stay in the park. There's a dishwasher and a fairly well-stocked kitchen. My husband didn't think the bed was comfy, but I thought it was fine.
It would have been nice if someone had shoveled a path to the doorway for us. We had to walk through about 1.5 ft (deep) of snow with all of our luggage to get to the front door. It was mostly very clean but there was a wad of hair on the living room floor and a leak in the ceiling. It was also REALLY hot, which was nice to come home to after a long hike in the snow, but hard to sleep in. We found it hard to get the temperature down so that we could sleep.

Location, view.
Would have been nice to have a welcome folder or binder with exact info regarding how to operate fans, lighting, TV, what switches operate what light, host contact phone number. That number was in the front entry way over the door. Never noticed it. Only had 3 dinner size plates. Would have been nice to have 2 complete towel sets ie wash cloth, hand towel and bath towel. No kitchen towels until we requested them. No privacy in front patio. Maybe a gate would help. Parking shared with main house so could have gotten blocked in.

Amazing property, in the heart of Yosemite West. Full of trees and birds chirping, super comfortable studio. The host let us coffee and pop corn. The studio is full equipped to cook, and everything was extra clean. The bed is super comfortable, best sleep I had in weeks. The wifi worked ok, enough for what we needed (send a couple of messages and browse some sites).
Very good place to stay while ok Yosemite!
A little bit expensive, but hey… is summer and is inside the park. If I had a property like this, I’ll make it worth too!

Good location (around 30mins from the Valley), clean, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom (had all the necessities - really enjoyed and appreciated this), powerful air-conditioning, great tv, nice grill outside for barbeque.
Owner was very quick at responding to an issue I encountered.
Lots of creaking and noise if there are tenants in the upstairs property.

Kitchen tools and cooking ingredients such as olive oil, spices available. Complimentary popcorn, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The host is very responsive. Nice sets of plates, bowls, mugs, and glassware.
The dishwasher needs to be in heavy wash setting to properly clean the dishes.

Excellent property and service and only 20 minutes drive to Tunnel View. We had a great stay!

Kitchen - well stocked. My wife loved the unit because of this.
Heater
Instructions are outdated/confusing inside the unit. There was a note that says call this number for the cleaning stuff. Number is not working. Also, had trouble finding the trashbin. Anyway, hope the cleaner can throw it for us.

Very cosy, kitchen very complete, 30mins from entrance, bed was comfy, wifi ok enough (we came for hiking, not internet). A great experience and value for money. will book here again.

Ease of checkin, all the amenities and extras one could ask for. Things like toiletries, whole bean coffee and grinder, all kinds of kitchen tools, all in near-new condition.
8.0
The location, ease of checking in and out, amenities within the lodging
The WiFi and satellite did not function half of the time. Outdoor snow gear would have been nice to have available. The next time I travel during snow I will choose a location with coveted parking

This place is perfectly situated, and impeccable. Bed was comfortable, heat, hot shower, TV & fireplace worked perfectly. I was very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was to cook along with condiments which I had packed but was pleasantly surprised that host thought about that as well. It's a huge advantage to be inside Yosemite, it made things much easier.

The toilet was stopped up upon check in. We couldn’t find the dumpster. The TV never worked, the host had me make calls to try and handle it, then it never got resolved. We also killed some brown recluse spiders.
9.0
Great place with just what you need. No need for reservation to park as your proof of stay gets you into the park. Easy beautiful drive into the Yosemite Valley. Had a very pleasant stay!
Upstairs unit can be a little loud with creaking floor. Linoleum in kitchen could use a deep clean.

The lady giving us attitude beacause we forgot and we slept in on the last day

Location was great, easy access and clean.
The wifi service was down, but it was fixed the next day.

No WIFI was available. I wasn't warned ahead of time and it would have been nice to know.

The studio was very nice - comfortable beds and nice clean bathroom and the location in the park will save you lots of time waiting in line and driving. The member of our party who stayed on the couch had no complaints. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and stock items, which we appreciated as we cooked every night. We also appreciated having a grill. During our stay the stove/oven unit suddenly stopped working/heating. However, this only interrupted us for one night as after a call to the property manager who we were able to reach immediately, maintenance came the next day while we were out and was able to fix the problem with a circuit reset. We appreciated the responsiveness.
As other reviews have mentioned - no wifi. This was communicated prior to the beginning of our stay so we knew it before arriving, however, it would be really nice to have wifi in an area where there is no cell service for the purpose of communicating with family in case of emergency, checking weather, and planning one's day. I understand that the former provider stopped service, but it is clear that surrounding rentals have service as you can see their wifi signals so there must be other service available. We also were unable to get the satellite TV to work. When we turned it on it said we needed to insert an access card. Perhaps instructions need to be provided. Another suggestion to the host would be to communicate to the attached unit (Yosemite Magic A) that the studio is attached and located below their unit. One of the families that stayed in that unit while we were there had kids who would run around and jump on beds right above our unit, keeping us up at night. We politely went over and informed them that we were below them and this resolved the issue. It would also be helpful to instruct the occupants of each unit where to park in the driveway as it is shared and can be confusing how to park when the occupants of the Yosemite Magic A unit have multiple vehicles.
EDIT following the property manager's response: There is indeed a landline and we were able to call on that fine. Just note that there is no answering machine so if someone needs to get in touch with you while you are out exploring the park, you are probably out of luck.

The location of is great when staying in Yosemite.
When we arrived the code to enter the place did not work. We had to drive 20min to get cell phone reception. It turned out the host‘s email never reached us (or it was not sent). When we finally got into the place, it was not cleaned. The hosts after some back and forth offered one night at another property (his wife was reluctant to offer it … note this is >1.5h to drive out of the park. The place was cleaned overnight and when we arrived in the morning it was tidy.
Neither WiFi worked nor did the Satellite TV receiver have an active subscription. This ended up very inconvenient as we had to drive 25min to get some cellphone reception. If a place advertises WiFi and TV it should work.
The place itself was higher end at one time. But compared to the other property is lacks upkeep. The bathroom had a lot of dark deposits and mold around the shower and the sink did not drain.
Summary:
- Host Never sent Email
- Cleaning Service missed clean-up
- No Internet / WiFi
- No TV service.
- Pullout Couch VERY uncomfortable
- Needs upkeep

Kitchen resource is plenty; A/C is excellent; beds are comfy.
no wifi, some of the towels have stains, bathroom sink has drainage problem

The sofa bed needs to be replaced.
5.0
There were only 2 sets of towels for a family of 4. There were No bed sheets for the pull out sofa bed, we had to call several times to receive them, we had to sleep one night without them. There seems to be a communication issue with housekeeping. There was no WIFI at all on the property, they had to get it fixed, even though it’s advertised that the property offers WIFI. This was a minor inconvenience. It should either be taken off the listing or a small refund should be offered back to the guests.
