Nicest spot in Cañon City!

I have stayed here multiple times and I've also stayed at most hotels in town as my hubby is in prison down here and this is by far my favorite place to stay. The rooms are always SO clean, they smell amazing when you walk in. Everything is comfortable and the rooms are large. I've never had issues with anything and the staff is so friendly and on top of it. Price is also fantastic and there are very few around any better priced, and the ones comparable are run down, not well maintained, not that clean and usually are filled with unfavorable people who are loud. I absolutely love staying here!

I'd stay again anytime!

The motel used to be run down, but the current owner has turned it around and made it so nice. Friendly service, willing to go out of the way to meet reasonable requests. No fancy frills, super clean, comfy room, walk-in shower, firm rules about troublemakers- NOT tolerated- decent, simple breakfast of coffee, muffins and yogurt. Great, affordable, basic motel.

The bed was a bit mushy.

It was adequate for a cheap stay in town.

Check-in was easy, the person at the desk was friendly and explained the rules, deposit, etc. He provided me with options; ground floor room or second floor room. The room was very clean. The bedsheets were white and crisp.

The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The pipes made noises a lot. I don't understand why they say it's only 2 per room and can't accommodate children when they have two queen beds in the rooms. The water in the shower was inconsistent; constantly switching between hot and cold.

Central location. Several local restaurants nearby, including breakfast. Basic accomodation, adequate for one night stay. Clean with comfortable bed. Friendly staff at check-in and out.

No breakfast option on site. Location was on main highway through town, with associated traffic noise. Running room heater fan muffled noise sufficiently.

I want my money back

They are so mean and stricken that it’s was a Friday night and only 1 person a d that is me… they don’t have any in the room no cups nothing no hot water. No ice u can’t leave your room after 10pm I want my money back

For one night it was fine. If I had stayed more than one night, I would have preferred a quieter roo

Checking in was a little difficult as the manager in the evening spoke with a foreign accent so I had to ask him twice to clarify, but it was all good. The morning manager spoke more clearly. I did get a cup of coffee to go but did not want breakfast. Bed was fine. Television from neighbor was a little loud very late but then the traffic was loud also. Everything was fine for the price.

Walls were very thin. The motel was basically empty, yet they put the few guests there right next to each other. We could hear every word our neighbors spoke and it could have been avoided by allowing an empty room in between guests.

I do not recommend this motel. It is the worse place in in Canon City.

This property was Quiet the most part. aside from that, this place is TRASH

ownership and management are very rude. I had my son visit and was charged $60. He kept my Driver’s license and Credit Card which is absolutely illegal.

Nicely Maintained and Decorated Older Motel

For an older building, the room was as up-to-date and clean as one could ask for. Everything was on the simple but pleasant side. It was just fine for a brief, one-night stay.

The check out time is a bit on the early side--10 AM. There was an hourly charge if you check out late, and they take a deposit on check in almost like they're anticipating stragglers. Our full deposit was returned without any issues, but that aspect did stand out. The property is right next to the busiest road in the busiest part of town, but since we were really only there late at night, noise and crowding were not an issue.

We would recommend this motel.

This is a modest, older motel. Our room was neat, clean, and comfortable enough. The owner is very nice and helpful. We took a short pleasant walk to a great Mexican Restaurant recommended by our host. We are happy to have found this little gem in Canon City for future recreational trips.
