The location
I requested during my resv to be on the ground floor and away from the elevator & King size bed.
When I was checking in we received 3rd floor, 2 rooms from elevator and back stairs and queen bed. Also, I asked to be changed to king bed & they said not possible.
My niece gets there after us and gets upgraded for free to a king size bed.
The pool closes at 6 pm is the dumbest idea especially in a warm climate when staying out of town.
Won't return.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly, the location was prime, and the amenities were fantastic! We wished there was a breakfast spot at the hotel, but the recommended Orange Blossom nearby was delicious. We especially loved the pool, pool bar, and golf cart shuttle service to the ocean with our private beach section.
Expensive restaurant with no discounts for guests, but that's Miami. Extending the shuttle service to the Collins Ave Parking garage would have been a great service.

Hi - prior to arriving at the hotle i emailed requesting not to be located on the 2nd floor above the resturaunt , which i was placed. after several attempts to move room and speak with the manager it was proving rather difficult. no one at reception had any authority or knowledge of room types.

no breakfast in the building but referenced another hotel, managed by the same group. Availability of food and bar open hours was the biggest negative
open hours of bar

The location, the hotel itself is beautiful. We loved the small intimate vibe, the pool was a dream and the amenities of the bar and on-site restaurant were a plus!!

Great location, quiet neighborhood. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. There is a juice/coffee bar two blocks away, a fun bar with great Happy Hour specials offering $1 oysters a block away and a local deli offering Spanish food and cheap bottles of water/ drinks to load up on. The hotel sushi restaurant is very good, pricey but it was fresh and authentic sushi offerings. The hotel bar also offers happy hour specials on sushi rolls definitely take advantage because the rolls were half price. After several nights of eating at restaurants we decided to stay in and order from a local salad/healthy food spot. We sat outside of the hotel on their patio furniture and the staff did not mind.
The Bass Museum is across the street as well as a park, definitely recommend. There are some homeless people that occupy the park; they keep to themselves but there is security/staff at the front door of the hotel who was exceptional and we felt safe walking to the hotel at night.
The room was clean, it was a first floor room with a pool view balcony. The hotel has a sushi restaurant that extends seating into the pool area which was noisy some nights, and then at around 8 am the pool reopens with staff setting up the lounge chairs and music playing, worked out well because we were already up and getting ready but we would not be able to sleep in if we wanted to. The room was dark, overhead fixtures only in the hallway entrance and bathroom area. A ceiling fan with a light would give more light to the majority of the room. Major complaint since we were two ladies trying to get dressed and ready for dinner/going out. If we had more people in the room trying to get ready would have been a more difficult process.

Great location, lot of restaurants nearby, just 2 blocks from the beach. Nice room, very conftable beds.
Very nice pool inside the hotel. Friendly staff.
Several days they did not clean the room or change the towels.
They do not offer breakfast inside the hotel.

Excellent food. Impeccable staff. Top of the line first class employees. Best hotel staff
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The staff and facilities are the best.

Semi art-deco, European style. Walking distance to a beautiful beach with access to beach chairs and umbrellas
Excessively expensive as the whole South Beach area is. Though there is an art-deco flair, the environment is older and deserves refurbishing to return to grandeur.
Additional charges were not clear in advance: parking, cost for beach furniture, expensive restaurant menu with satisfactory but not exceptional food.
It is a “party” environment for the young “libidoed” crowd.
Paid an up charge for a balcony with an industrial view, no ocean

Nice and clean.
we had a room facing the pool, we were disturbed by other guests speaking and laughing late into the night in the pool area. Lacking breakfast service obviously.

The smell, the people, the decor.
Being top floor offered great views, but it did mean that we heard the music from the rooftop bar well into the night. Also, it was a shame that we couldn't use the outside space on the roof during the day when the bar was closed. The outside space on the ground floor was nicely arranged, though.

Room was nice.
Check in was at 4 but the beach closed at 5 and the pool at 6. Was barely able to use. Had I known that, I would have booked elsewhere. There was a bug of some kind in our room, that is not expected at a 4 star hotel. Beach was a distance from the hotel.

loved the style of the hotel and ambiance, great location and all the staff were fabulous, especially Walter and Bianca.
the daily cleaning charge was quite high and it’s a shame that breakfast is not offered in the hotel itself.

Beautiful hotel in a fabulous South Beach location. The pool area was great and Walter at the pool bar was fantastic. The restaurant is excellent and always buzzing. great staff. Comfortable rooms, a little small.
I didn’t like the fact we couldn’t charge drinks etc to the room. Room servicing was quite variable - sometimes good, sometimes towels missing.

Staff were amazing, location was great: near the Convention Center, Collins Ave. and the beach. Room was a little small, but very comfortable.
There wasn't any draft beer because the taps were not working at the bar and the restaurant didn't serve breakfast.
9.0 / 10.0
Room was clean, beds were very comfy, location was great and close to beach and conference center.
Wifi was a bit spotty, wish pool was open until later. Gym was a bit small.
