My husband, daughter and I stayed at Cliff Lodge for the second time this year and had an absolutely wonderful stay! The beautiful Inn is located in the heart of downtown Nantucket which made it easy for us to walk to restaurants, shops and the ferry. Our room was extremely comfortable and charming with a king size bed and extra sitting space. The staff at the Inn were very welcoming and accommodating and provided us a delicious continental breakfast. Maria, our host went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We look forward to our next stay and highly recommend Cliff Lodge!

Nice location, nice staff ( when in sight)
My room was freezing ( I think central AC for the whole floor was in my room and on full blast the whole time) breakfast was some plastic boxes with muffins and cereal, the only fruit some apples. Honestly to spent more then $500 per night on a room and the breakfast is better at a days inn. Just some sugary store bought stuff. Also I heard people walking and moving things til midnight every night, I was on the top floor. Maybe there was a deck above me , not very quiet…
There was hardly any staff in sight but the ones I saw were very nice. Room was clean and the location great.
Otherwise the value for the money was completely off.

Good location, nice housekeeper
Absolutely appalling value for money - $850 a night was an absolute joke - broken window in room, threadbare furniture, no staff other than a housekeeper on call, very basic breakfast - outrageously expensive for what it was

Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the bed was super comfy! The various outdoor seating areas were enjoyable as well.
The room was quite small. Very cute and quaint but for the price I was hoping for a little more space. It’s Nantucket in the summer time though, I get it.

The lady at the desk was friendly, and she provided a card for a taxi service, which was very prompt
Breakfast could have been better. Limited to pastry and a few yogurts in a refrigerator. By the time we got down for breakfast at 8:30, there was no coffee left and no one around to make more.

I absolutely love the location and very friendly staff. Monica is the best! Our room was huge, had a comfortable bed, and was beautifully decorated. The hotel has a very nice outdoor sitting area and widow's walk with spectacular views of the town. It's a beautiful property!
I'm an early riser and would prefer to have breakfast a little bit earlier or at least have coffee ready. There's a Keurig coffee machine, but there were no coffee pods.

Good location and clean.
Room was small and breakfast basic.

Good location, very clean.
The AC was not on the second night. It was too hot to sleep. The staff attempted to enter our room the first day after check in without knocking. The staff were very loud throughout the stay. You can hear everything in this place. The door lock was a little janky. Bed was not level and very creaky. The bed was full, not a queen. TV was in an awkward location.

The breakfast was terrible. Lucky Charms, Frosted Flakes, stale and moldy bread, and hot dog buns do not a breakfast make. There was no toaster, butter, or jam available. Neither were there any protein options. This was extremely disappointing and definitely not worth coming back for. I really felt like this was a waste of money.

Showed up and they didn't have a room for us. They stated the reservation was made for the following day, even though my reservation and confirmation clearly showed the day I arrived. I think they overbooked and left us stranded.

Surprising nice spread of breakfast items, especially with Monica's freshly baked goods, makes our day. And the coffee was the best we even had in the entire trip! =)
Mattress was a tad soft, and there was no housekeeping for our 2nd day.

The breakfast was just basic cereal cups, bagels, toast and muffins which I love. Self-serve. Lovely outdoor dining area in the garden. The staff was amazing and really allowed us to make the best of our trip. The location is superb. Really close to downtown and a short walk to a park where you can let your dog roam free.
They charged me extra for bringing a puppy when nowhere did it say there is an additional fee of $50 per night to bring a dog. I am appalled since the three nights themselves cost $450.

Good location and nice home
The staff was unprofessional and the room was filthy.

Quaint 1771 house, very clean and well kept. Room we had was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom was an added bonus at a B&B. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all day. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of options, not just the standard coffee and croissants. Would return in a heartbeat. Loved it!
